  1. OK, I have read so much on regs its starting to annoy me... Firstly, I have used Malpassi regs for years, on drag engines, rotors and of course my line. the current reason I am using on the line is that the Nissan one was doing some funkey monkey things. You need to get the 384 model of rising rate fuel reg for the skyline. The 384 HV is black on top and is 1:2 which you do NOT need. The 384 has a large rubber middle section and silver all over. I am yet to have one of these fail. I will remind you that all regulators will be affected by temparature, some more so than others. Also get a guage I cannot stress that enough. I currently do not have one as I broke it, however while here in the states I am getting a Auto Meter one to replace it. Like anything on a car you need to check it and install it correctly. The ONLY time I have seen a regulator fail, and it was an SX one was the SHIT install... SX regs are good, however you have to remember that a regulator is merely that, a regulator and do you really need better one if your engine is midly tuned. You should be looking at surge tanks, fuel pumps, lines and injectors BEFORE a regulator. All the regulator will do is try and squeeze more juice through the injectors, thus placing additional strain on the fuel lines and injectors what not at a high duty cycle. Hope that helps...
  2. That is potentially only a US and Jap model... I have to admit the new skyline is growing on me...there are a few 35's over here and I like them...
  3. Quickfit at Yerongpilly, ask for Jason and tell him that Neill sent you and that he needs to ****in email me!!!
  4. I will take all of the above!!!
  5. Ring Arias, all I know is that the Wiseco ones give a compression of 8.5 with standard deck height and Nissan Head gasket... These are also 20 thou over Go here it may help...sorry it is a US sight http://www.rpmmachine.com/
  6. GTR Cam on here has an Evo 8...and a R33 GTR V Spec...the one that was in the latest HPI on the left hand side, the GTR that is. His Evo is the upspec one with the carbon bits and black leather interior to match the black outside... They are a sweet care, Maltese version or not...which is crap by the way, we just get the European Spec compared to the US and Jap Spec...there are only 3 variations. And I have to say that it still is one of the most exciting cars I have driven to date. 4 cyl twin scroll turbo pumping out 15-16psi standard with absolutely faultless handling... I would actually choose one over a GTR... I saw a blue one here in the US last night and have also seen a white one that I actually got a look inside. They have everything the same as the Eurospec and obviously the indicators on the left... I can't wait to get back to oz and actually see some performance cars...had enough of hondas with big cannons or holes in mufflers...
  7. All this talk about food... Well I am off to dinner right by the Brooklyn Bridge...obviously the Manhattan side. Its my anniversary so I will have to say Good night all, enjoy your day in Oz!!!
  8. Its probably cause a) he started it B) he kept it going c) he did not follow the forum rules d) has no interest other than to stir crap... But if you want to get banned I am sure there are some mods more than happy to!!
  9. Yeah I like that...except the chrome side mirrors... Steve from Redcliffe Dyno still has the nicest Torana I have seen in a while!!
  10. you have to check out this thread..I nearly wet my pants... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...890#post1213890
  11. Thank you its been a long day...and I have to add... Dear Mr HSV Lover Lover Do you honestly think before you type or is that 16 year old typing for you...and at the end of the day, shit happens the world turns around and there is ALWAYS someone with more money and is going to be quicker... And for the record have you looked at sport compact in the states lately for their times...and most cars use small capacity FACTORY blocks...jackass Take care MOFO. Remember, HSV Everyone has one...they just need to put badges on their commodores and most of them do!!!
  12. I have not laughed that hard in ages. I actually showed your responses Bogan Eater to some of the "V8" guys over here. Now have you heard of Summit Racing??? They won Pro Tock in the US again. Now there are some floors in your arguement. 1. You have made no sense, no definitive point and certainly no evidence 2. The amount of money you have spent on your engine alone would be the cost of a skyline, plus performance parts to bring it to the same level 3. Holdens should be compared to their domestic competitors, such as Ford who have better performance figures, build quality and overall value for money. 4. Next time I want an over-equiped boat towing bucket of crap then I will buy a HSV, until then I have a big enough dongle not to require a bigger donk. 5. My dad introduced me to drag cars when I was 6 I love cars, and you comparing a Keith Black to a GTR engine is just stupid as you are comparing something engineered specifically for drag racing and then something out of the factory for the domestic market. And as other have pointed out already, a trap speed of 119mph is lucky to get you into the 13's ass 6. The chick in the photo looks like she's 16 and would suck anyone's dick for a fix 7. 90% of my mates work in workshops that use V8's, and they respect cars you have no respect for anything 8. You have some sort of mental problem were you dick has obviously shrunk and you cannot find it, and as such have a need to divert your anger. 9. Your an angry angry little man 10. And just for the record my first car was a VK, which I dropped a 350 Chev into. Now that thing was quick, but the last time I checked fuel prices were no longer 58c like they were back then and the efficiency of the RB engines still surpasses most engine of today...what can you say about the VORTECH supercharged 5.7 that you are throwing around. Last time I checked the horsepower heroes was turbocharged, and that was 1200HP...not street driven... Lastly, but not least of all...I hope you sleep well at night cause you really are an unintelligent, small minded person who should have been strangled at birth.
  13. Gold thanks for that. I would also recommend that if you change the injectors that you change the regulator. The standard one has its limits, I have changed mine already to a Malpassi rising rate, always had them on quick cars and think they are great!!! And as for the pistons...damn that is cheap especially with the current exchange rates!!! Thats like $850AUS...
  14. What RPM launch cause your 60' if you can get it down a little more will definitely see a better trap speed and ET
  15. What tyres were you running and size, pressure??? I think you would run lower 12's if you decrease your 60 foot by a bit. Also I hope they did not let you run the water sprayers on while you did the run...that is just stupid!!! And I am guessing that was with a bit of wheelspin considering the torque that engine must produce
  16. Oh now I get it...bloody metal heads... Oh and over here I am sooooooooooo over Mexican, but atleast is authentic and bloody hot (which I don't like but the missus does)
  17. Looks like you jokers were having fun... I still don't get slayer and was kinda hopy Squizz was going to go A over T off the bonnet

  24. Is that three guage holder definitely for 2 1/16" guages??? Also you can get an Autometer A pillar single and Dual pod guage holder. As I am in the states I will source mine here, but have not seen a DIn sized one for three guages. Modyour car has them here for those who cannot navigate the web...lol http://www.modyourcar.com.au/?cPath=19_125
  25. Sorry my PM's are full and I don't have time to empty them... All I wanted to know is it a GSS341-400-959 or GSS341-400-805 or GSS341-400-762 or GSS341-400-858 As all are made for different applications. Just making sure. Oh and last time I checked, if you want to sell something and claim that it fits you should be knowledgeable enough to know what your talking about. I am not here for a chat and frankly don't have the time...and last time I checked this was a forum, thus questions and ANSWERS...
