I am in the search for some guages while here in the states, and have found the racing parts heaven. The questions I have are as follows: - The best guages to install either mechanical or electrical Also what type are from factory, is the oil pressure mechanical and the water temp electrical. People, Just a quick message to say Hi and that I am alive!!! I have to say I am yet to see a skyline ovr here and that disappoints me greatly considering that there are a few being imported into the state. All I have seen is the occassional rice burning Honda with a fart in a milo tin exhaust. Definitely alot of bling bling with hummers and 22 inch wheels, have not got a pic cause i seem to leave the camera at home those days and only just got a phone that works. I am yet to find a performance shot. Found a place in New Jersey but that was crap and full of Honda rice shit including more Type R stickers than i could poke a stick at and neons and pedals and seat covers.... Anyway, so far it has been cold over here and I am having severe withdrawals from decent food, driving and nice people. Seems most yanks are rude, especially if they are the few that work for companies that do not accept tips...a concept I hate and will be glad to be rid of when we get back!!! I gave the Cabbie a hot tip last night after he got lost taking us home, told him to learn to rive then short changed him... We welded in a vaccum hose connection just after the silicone hose and clamp near the turbo (ie on the cooler piping), this was done on an Evo and I do not have pics sorry... Alot of racers do this to pic up boost leaks or damaged cores.

Unless it is a turbo diesel...hehehehe Yes near the plenum is where most install them, I recently installed two, one near the turbo and one near the plenum, this was to show boost at the turbo and what was lost through different coolers

If you want it REALLY loud...stick you head up that 5 inch muffler after you gut the cat and let your mate rev the crap out of it till it throws a flame.... ****in tool...

Unable to make it peeps, my car went home on Tuesday on the back of a tilt tray. I have an oil issue, mainly the pressure release valve at idle the damn pressure is around 4kg, so it will not be driven anytime soon. I will be going past Aspley Maccas tonight though...on the back of a tilt tray again!!! And from what I have heard the heat WILL be on, there were even a few unmarks driving around last night!!!

I have a 5 ziggin large muffler, NOT a crap arse cannon...no centre muffler and stock front, dump and cat at the moment...noise in minimum and all mandrel bent from the cat back... Just get a decent rear muffler mine is about 25cm wide and 30cm or so long, big fat thing, 3 inch inlet, 4 inch outlet. No drone and nice note and at highway speeds hardly a sound@!!!

It is a sealed unit, you can take it to a specialty place just ring around. I no longer have to replace mine as the noise was not related to bearing!!!

I think it has gone a bit too far... I drive past Aspley Maccas regularly, why, cause a friggin live near there. The bacon have decided to crack down on imports, cause they stand out from the normal commonwhores that most of them drive. I am just glad that I won't be here around Chrissy/ New Years cause then they will REALLY crack down. As for the number place thing, that really is a friggin joke, how the hell can a car get registered and pass a safety certificate with the plate the same and then they fine you for it..bunch of tossers at times. Unfortunately, like the bogans out there, some ruin it for most!!
