  1. Thanks for that. Deciding between that or twin master - balance bar assembly, so will let you know if I require the part number. Thanks for the offer
  2. No good to see Well done on the time Ant, sad I missed this one!
  3. Hey mate, all looking good Can I ask how much you picked the N1 master cylinder up for, and where you got it from?
  4. That's not a bad idea Troy, wonder if it would have enough velcro contact to keep it in place? Damo: Thanks for the tips mate, I will keep it all in mind if I decide I'm going to tackle it myself. In the pic it looks like Russ's car has a strap on the top that must have come loose. As for the carbon windows, I know you can get them for a 180SX as I saw someone selling them a few years ago. Should have bought them! I can't see through mine anyway.
  5. Mark's frameless windows are flexing quite a bit on the 34 in this clip too:
  6. Cheers Duncan, but I'm not sure if I'd trsut myself to be able to pull it off and still have it looking relatively neat (I'm a ricer at heart ), but you've made it sound all pretty easy. Do you have any pics of your frames? I have seen the image of the 32 with the windows flapping around. What is it that has caused that, apart from the lack of a frame? The NACA duct perhaps?
  7. LMGT4's, now there's a man with taste!
  8. Definitely a few pricey accidents!
  9. Thanks for the information Mark, much appreciated. The guy on NS who sells them is TAARK, but at $250 each I'd much rather grab the kit for 1k AUD or thereabouts as I think the rear 1/4's and rear windscreen would be by far the more expensive items and slightly more difficult to have made up. I also don't mind if they don't go up an down as I'll be optioning them with the slots and getting a roof vent, and the car is no longer road registered. I might speak with Plastix.com.au as well to get another quote and help confirm which way I'll go. Another part of the appeal from Plastics 4 Performance is that they do the black surrounds as per the stock glass, and can be purchased with a grey tint which looks pretty nice Troy: It's looking a bit sad at the moment mate, dented roof, no engine and dusty But I just put a fresh Carbon bonnet on it about 5 mins ago so it's getting better!
  10. I doubt it considering they can be optioned with sliders, which would probably impede their retraction into the door, but possibly.
  11. Hey all, I'm thinking of grabbing some Polycarbonate windows from the UK while the exchange rate is so good, but was first wondering whether anyone had any experience with 'Platics 4 Performance' ( http://www.plastics4performance.com/default.asp ), or secondly, whether anyone has had them custom made here? The rear 1/4 windows on the 180 are a bit odd so would be quite difficult to do I would think. The full kit is appealing, and is pretty reasonable considering the bulk of it. Glass on the 180, for reference: Cheers, Dane
  12. Sad to see this car leave Melbourne, but good to see it will be back next year Best R34 I've encountered, nice buy mate!
  13. I love this thing, well done and look forward to seeing it at Superlap.
  14. Feature on the car: http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010/03/03...r-shootout.aspx
  15. I'm of the same opinion Ben. I'm going to do poorly, but to be apart of the event is enough for me. if I'm going to make the trip up to watch, I may as well bring the car and drive!
  16. Should have just brought the car to Melbourne for the weekend, you'd have hundreds of speed dimples! Stuart: That is a really nice offer mate, hopefully they won't be needed
  17. His car is very quick, and so is he. Congratulations to him!
  18. Edit: Double post
  19. Good advice Russ, you're not wrong.
  20. Looking good Scott!
  21. There's not heaps, but more than it looks in the pics. I'm surprised more thread wasn't provided though to compensate for a strut brace mount.
  22. Nice one mate, can't go wrong with LM's
  23. 34 Ben? I must have missed something! Details?
  24. I reckon it would be quicker to just build this
