  1. Yep it's an extra throttle body. Just google R34 GT-T and have a look. It's absolutely massive you can't miss it.
  2. I agree. Constant visual inspection is required to make sure these things are operating. There is no other way.
  3. You can put the cams in whatever position you want and then just use a 27mm spanner just forward of the first lobe to turn the cams to wherever they need to be for installation.
  4. They have now been discontinued and the last remaining stock sold. You will only ever find individuals selling them now. From memory it was about $400 for both sides but you can expect to pay more than that now unfortunately.
  5. From memory it's God mode (or no clip? Can't quite remember) from the original doom isn't it?
  6. Also I'm running mine external gated (45mm hypergate) with a 25/30 neo setup. Made 265kw on 10psi and 292kw on 13.5psi. Going for retune on Tuesday and upped gate spring to 14psi and will be running more boost now. Will post back with results
  7. What's different about the new SS2? Will it be keeping the same response? Mine is a late 2012 unit and I'm wondering whether it's time to send it to you for a refresh.
  8. Okay so it goes back on the dyno to play with cam timing on Tuesday. I think I will just start by doing what GTRPSI said as that should give me a good basis to work from. Any other ideas/feedback appreciated [emoji4]
  9. That's child's play, people here are running standard RB20's to over 800hp nowadays. You don't really have anything that impressive. Sorry.
  10. Disclaimer* my method works everytime 60% of the time.
  11. Just go to supercheap and get a sacrificial socket and belt the f**k out of it onto the stuck nut. Then undo. Be sure to soak in wd40 if possible beforehand.
  12. It would just change you values depending how far out it is. Your ECU (and therefore timing map) assumes you have the mechanical timing set correctly.

  14. 6boost, Rex Kelsey, solution, brae all australian made.
  15. I disagree. There is plenty of people out there who abuse the f**k out of their standard engines running Big boost for years and never smash an oil pump. Myself included. Something else always gives (general wear causing low compression and giving excessive blowby, or just bad luck like spitting a shim or melting a piston due to a fuel pump dying) Personally I think the thing that kills oil pumps is the little silver and red badge on the car that says 'GTR'
  16. They may replace the manifold but they won't reply your turbo or engine when parts of the manifold go through it.
  17. I love RB20's. Reasonably gutless but you make up for that by thrashing the absolute f**k out of them and they love it. I still miss mine and sometimes regret going to a 25 and then a 25/30. The best part about them is the sound though. Soooo gooood.
  18. If you paid me to put a TOG manifold on my car I still wouldn't do it.
  19. Yes it's possible. Just needs to be engineered.
  20. All mine have sat very close to the middle, or just slightly forward +/-2mm
  21. 1) Don't worry about changing bearings if the engine is fine. Just drive it. 2) Do ACL make bearings anymore? Thought they went under.
  22. Both for $1200 sounds like s great deal.
