  1. Yeah just slot them to move where it bolts to the block a little lower.
  2. Copper coat as In hylomar spray?
  3. 15deg BTDC. What sort of issues are you having? Edit: That is the base timing setting. I see around that but it obviously varys as it is in closed loop idle. Values in the range of 10-20deg would not be uncommon as the engine is trying to stabilise itself at a set RPM. It uses a combination of ignition timing and air control to do this.
  4. That's about the range where it should be coming hard into boost. For reference I had exactly the same setup as you but I had a neo engine and nistune. I made 315kw on 20psi on 98octane. Have you talked to stao about the actuator? He may have just forgot to correctly set the pre load on it.
  5. It seems almost 50kw short of the mark. Does it feel laggy? I would be carefully looking at exhaust restrictions and can timing. Could just be a very tired engine with low comp. Also lol at tuner recommending cams, probably the worst value for money modification you could do in your current situation.
  6. He said he had already replaced the CAS. Hopefully it was with a known good unit.
  7. Did you have a problem when you were running your single?
  8. I should clarify. It will always give a reading, it's just whether it is correct or not is the issue.
  9. Sometimes the loop works sometimes it doesn't. It's very hit and miss.
  10. And check the sticker on you bonnet to see what it should be set at. I believe auto and manual base timing is different. And yes unplug TPS and use an old spark plug lead between cyl 1 coilpack and plug.
  11. Can you fking read? That is exactly what his post says mate. Look very closely at his last sentence.
  12. Not sure if serious....
  13. Fusible like = fuse.
  14. What sort of results did you see johnny? I ran my 32 for 2 years RB20/R34 turbo and it was great. Made 197kw on 14psi with minor supporting mods.
  15. It looks like some sort of high flow. No idea who did the highflow but it's definitely not standard.
  16. 25/30 neo. Standard head, standard cams, standard untouched RB30E, SS2 .82, 45mm hypergate, 6boost, Greddy plenum, working VCT. Cam timing is retarded and only running a 7psi spring so gate opens almost instantly. Huge gains to be had playing with cam timing and running a stiffer gate spring and a bit more boost.
  17. I used aerfoflow hose, can't remember what series. And I did all my water/oil/fuel lines at the same time so I can't really remember. If you were just to do the soft lines coming out of the fuel tank hat, and in the engine bay I don't think it would be more than $100
  18. Disclaimer, I don't gives a shit about ABS or TCS, so decide if you do and go from there.
  19. Nope, won't need to change flywheel. Differences in the loom between R33 S2 and R34 is; CAS wired exact opposite (180deg) TPS is different IACV plug is different And the ECU plug pinout is completely different. GTSboy' list is good, I would put the 2.7 in the 34, keeping the 34 loom and PFC, and doing appropriate wiring loom mods. They are not hard.
  20. Not hardlines no. It's debatable whether or not you should change your soft lines to ethanol rated hose. Personally I would (and I did).
  21. I'm glad you were able to have success with Jez pete. Is he not the friendliest tuner you have ever met? And his customer support is second to none. Are you looking at getting the steering sorted back in foster? I can recommend Road2Race on the central Coast, they will sort you out no worries
  22. http://www.asroilpans.com/
  23. The ones that don't say they are rated for ethanol? Hardly surprising is it?
