  2. The RB25 twin cam head's variable inlet cam timing can be retained on the RB30 block by teeing off the oil pressure galley on the head and feeding the standard RB25 piston mechanism. This pushes the camshaft through a full 10 degree advance. All oil and coolant galleries mate up perfectly, with the exception of this cam advance unit. from http://www.autospeed.com/A_0004/article.html This is all I could find on the net! Mag wheels and stud's don't like to be hit too hard!, if all else fails I would find someone with a mig welder and weld a big nut from the inside to the lock nut and then remove it cause you might end up damaging the thread or the mag if you bash a socket on the lock nut but it might work if done right, and you would also have to get the nut out of the socket every time or use 4 sockets! Bob jane sounds like a good idea too cause they would have seen this before! and might have a few keys. MEGA P.s if you weld to your car remmeber to disconnect the battery!
  8. Sydneykid, Your car says R32 GTST RB31DET have you got a bored out 3litre block in your R32, must be a bit of a beast!! and nismogtsx: The R33 keeps the RB26DETT engine from the R32 GT-R. The power is still the same with an official 280hp (206kw) at 6800rpm, although inofficially it is ass-umed to be around 302hp. Increased peak turbo-boost of 0.84bar, an improved intercooler and changed computer control parameters make for a higher torque of 375Nm (271 lb-ft) at 4400rpm. Another obvious question checked fuse's( but a blown fuse might affect the high-beam too) so it must be the globes. http://www.skylinegts.co.uk/R32-Fuses.htm Has the layout but a test light is the best way to check fuses and also to check that it isn't a blown bulb! Other than that it might be wiring/relay/earth? The dull headlight sounds like globe fault/faulty earth to me! The fuses for the headlights are in the engine bay in the relay box, two blue 15A ones!! Also when ever taking out a globe don't touch the glass part!!(If you do touch the glass part clean it with dry cleaning fluid and a nice soft cloth before you reinstall it!) MEGA

I love the old "Running on empty" movie that was made in the early eighty's, there is just something different about it, even though it was from the old pushrod V8 days.(maybe its the blind guy that owns the super-charged black 55 chev,scary!!) Even the "Full metal jacket" another V8 movie that was made a few years ago was not all that bad!, though it even lacked a bit in the story line department it made up for that with the action! As for "Fast and the furious" seemed to be under reseached for its time and also over cinematized in some areas! As for F&F2 I might just wait until it comes out on DVD cause you get to see more angles of the action in the crash scenes and how they made the movie! MEGA

  16. ATTESSA is also conected to a lateral G-force sensor that also determines the split transfer too!!! Sometimes you control ATTESSA and sometimes ATTESSA controls you!! MEGA

  18. I have a 91 R32 GTR that I just imported from japan, so if I wait till 2006 will I be able to register it without compliance plate? Sorry GTAAH my wrong again!!! MEGA
  19. I don't think they have compliance plates for them as their age and they are only a low volume import I think, maybe I am wrong here too? What new rule? MEGA

(The car is probbably worth every cent!, but I personally wouldn't spend that much money on a car that can't be registered, personal choice more than anything!) HKS power flow filters have a mesh under the foam that has holes only about 10mm-sq. or so, So I guess that someone didn't replace the foam filter and it disintergrated (as they do perish being foam) and got sucked into the turbo. But if you replace the element every 2nd service( @ $60) there would be no way that the turbo could possibly digest the foam element. But they are crap on the dust side of things!!
  22. GTR, The subzero and Rigoli car's are GTS-t's and not GTR's at all, like so many people posted before!(and you call yourself GTR mmmm...) As for the subzero ( TRY09 ) R33 GTS-t RB26/30 at the 2002 Jamboree was performing huge burnouts all night and ran 10.02 at 139mph. But has a personal best of 9.464sec over 400m with a terminal speed of 150.90mph at Willowbank Queensland which can be seen at the fullboost site that Raider posted above!! In the 6 Cylinder turbo - Street Chassis section not the GTR section (Having a GTR bodykit doesn't mean you can be in the GTR class!!!) MEGA

  24. HKS, Super Power Flow, nicknamed the "green hairnet" by some. It has been "engineered to dramatically reduce inlet restrictions" and boy does it ever!. Most imports arrive with the HKS pods because the japanese aren't worried about longevity of there engines (cause they just about throw them away before the 50k mark) but they also want the best air filter for performance that they can buy!(some japanese still haven't forgiven those nasty air filters and run there car without one at all) but the best in HP is also the worst on the filter side of things! They aren't too bad if you do all your driving on the bitumen and maintain them properly! MEGA
