  1. How do you remove rear stud hub.I want to remove the rear hub studs and the drive shaft just keeps pushing in if i use a claw tool. What do i do?
  2. Hi ppls i need to know where abouts i can get r33 gtst rotor/wheel studs from. And i need to know today.I dont want to miss out on the sau chrisse party I am hopeing they are not a special order.Thats the whole reason im aksing now, though, cause it's late and there's no one to call. Ahhhh!
  3. Yeah. The brakes are only bled fully when the lines become contaminated or burnt due to overheating or when old fluid that hasent been used for a while is present or when you are changing the fluid for a better performance fluid.
  4. You dont have to change the fluid for the whole braking system all you gotta do is bleed the brakes after every time the brakes come off. Not long at all. But if he says to then i would do it.
  5. Allways love a good build up. I couldnt find you on the drft australia website.Mainly because i was looking for your car. It will be good to see your finished car.Looking foward to it.
  6. s14 for drft duties and r33 for all rounder.
  7. Werd! And if you have to go for an emissions test let us know how you go. I happen to know for a fact that a stock exhaust, air box, boost solenoid and fpr with a aftermarket front mount and gtr pump will pass an emissions test.
  8. There is a full thread on pplz times in the motorsport section. Good time! What tyres? HTH...
  9. So true. What are you racing on atm?
  10. Yeah there is adj avaliable.Atm i have the car up on stands and am taking the arms etc off to get the original rubber pressed out. After that i will reinstall and take it down the road to be adj to my specs. I will give the heasmans a call.
  11. How much are you guys paying for fitting and allignment of the kits? Does allignment include camber, castor and the rest etc.. adjustment as well?
  12. I am keen.I missed out on the last group buy for these ages ago.
  13. We are all hypothetiacs Seen as though i called vigill yoday and my tarnished driving record wouldnt allow for me to be insured through them, well,i might have to go through JCI now. Cubes do you have insurance on the 32 at the moment?
  14. Thanks for that. Can a regular joe use these instruments? Or is it best left to the experts! Cheers
  15. Lol! thats gold duncan.Especially love the commentry.
  16. Hi SK so what you are saying here is: The bar can be setup running offset holes to acheive different rates of torsion. And it has no effect on the rates that each side is able to acheive.i.e.The rates wont differ from side to side. Does this rule apply with a 4 hole adj front bar as well? Also when setting up the car for castor and camber how do you tell the degree of angle you are running??
  17. Sorry im generalising on skylines in particular. Modern v8's start out with 260kw so a stage 1 state 200+rwkw would not be hard to achieve.Plus how many modern v8's do you hear of being emissions tested. But anyhow i think to be able to drive the car fully insured you would not want to be the one dicking arround and be caught with a car that has illegal modifycations that rare found to be the cause of the acident. So no dicking around and i will be safe!ideal thinking!shrugs!!!I guess thats why they say take it to the track. At least there, there is run off.
  18. Fingers Crossed ..x.(**).x..
  19. Theyre not open till monday www.vigilins.com.au. If it does pan out as the other insureance companies have been i might just bite the bullet. And drive carefully not causing any accidents that write the car off.I couldnt stanfd having the car stolen and have nothing! Still it's a long hard think
  20. Ill try.But i still think that i will get the same answer that i am getting from every other insurance co.
  21. ATM it is engineered but only after i had it put back nearly stock enginewise did they pass it.It has a kit,bonnet,17'' wheels, gauges and a fmic. If i want the other parts i have to go on and i want it to be engineered then it wont be legal within nsw law.All because it will change emissions to much. 180rwkw no way is that legal.
  22. That is a big risk he is running then. I havent written off a car yet but i have had many fines. And for him to think that way is naieve.I could turn the key today turn the corner and be The one at fault in the accident not able to drive off but then again i could drive away. It's not that easy. I guess he i sthe lucky one. Some just arnt that lucky.
  23. Thats right. I just got off the phone woth just cars again and they said that there are $100,000 modded show cars insured with them 3rd party all because the mods on the car are illegal and they wont get a payout if they were driving and caused the accident writing off their car. Thats what so many skyliners are doing i bet but they are to embarresed to come foward.Do you just pray that it wont happen to you and you will get off with a light ding and still be able to drive away from the scene of the acident? The only time it would benifit us is if the car was parked and it was scratched, mags stolen. That means that it is covered but if they decided to take front mount boost control, ecu. Then the ass for you!! Also if the car is able to be changed arround so that it was able to be made legal after the time of the accident,it does not matter,It is all valid at the time of the accident.Yes you allready know!!! ''Full comp is a pipedream for 180rwkw cars even 160rwkw cars.At fault with mods found to be illegal at the time of accident'' You can quote that.. It has to be legaly engineered at the time of the accident!!
