  7. Welcome to SAU tripsteady Looks like a tidy unit you just purchased i also jumped ship from toyota (GT4 celica,AE82 20v) to a skyline as there seems to be far more readily available parts and knowledge on them than toyotas and havent looked back and i have since built my car up from 120rwkw to 336rwkw from the knowledge and advice gained from this GREAT forum Happy modifying
  8. Hoping there is some gains to be had as it will be a cheap GTR mod and we all know there aren't many of them around haha
  9. Cheers mate Im actually thinking bout throwing them on dads GTR early next week and heading over to unigroup for a power run and see if there is any gains if there is i will modify the old boys too
  10. Gave the insides of them a bit of a polishing to remove the rough castings also. So hopefully the air slides on through bit better and slotted out the hole that had the big 'dent' in it to do up the allen head bolt
  11. Done some mods to Pauls factory compressor inlet pipes tonight so hopefully they help him squeeze few more powers outta his beast Hopefully he can post some 'before' pics to show how restricted the standard pipes are inside since i wasnt smart enough to take the 'before' pics lol
  12. I'm running 336kw with my 25 Im running 850cc PE injectors an in tank tomei fuel pump and standard FPR my duty cycle is just over 80% shouldn't need an adjustable reg if your injectors and pump are up to the job.
  13. Haha nice skid Steve O that was only a small skid well for your car anyways lol old mate was giving you the big finger through the window the 3L build would be awesome and so would the HTA 86 butIm liking the standard low mount position and trying to look stock
  14. Apparently santa doesnt exist so have to splash out and spoil myself haha! I think you made the top shelf Nankangs scream louder Jez i could hardly hear your car when when we both drove off from the shops haha
  15. Those nangas are noisey bastards but thats Steves fault I have the right filler wire for those pipes at the workshop and a good plan of attack too mate
  16. Thanks for the kind words Steve O think i will change the brakes soon though haha!As for the 3.0 bottom end................. Im writing to Santa bout that because i have been a good boy this year so see how i go huh?
  17. My ebc red pads are supposedly about the equivalent to the ds2500 and they arent noisey although they were whilst bedding them in until i could get out into the open and get some decent heat into them then.
  18. Oh ok thats good keep me posted if a group buy kicks off Ash im keen if we can get them for the right price Just found these on ebay too hmmm interesting http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R32-R33-GTR-GTS-Alcon-Grex-full-brake-kit-/110882989990?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19d12427a6
  19. Hi guys and girls this is my 1st post in the brake and suspension topics so i will apologise in advance for any 'noob' questions anyways after driving the old mans R33 V spec with DBA 4000's,HEL braided lines and i think Remsa pads(GSL recommended them) my standard sumitumo clamps with RDA ugroove rotors,HEL lines and EBC red stuff pads dont feel near as bitey as the brembos on the Gtr. Now this is where my dilema begins........... Now i havent set a budget in stone yet but im thinking maybe around $2500 - $3000 zone. After shopping around online only found 1 full set of brembos off a 33 with rotors for $1800 which i think is a bit rich. Ive looked at the K sport kits as well and the 356mm kit is $2300 but im kinda weary of putting 'cheap' stuff on my car that may be unreliable (brandwhore) obviously unless anybody can confirm otherwise from 1 of these kits? But thats just for the fronts alone. The 3rd option im contemplating is picking up a full set of wilwood calipers 6 piston fronts and 4 piston rears which on Ebay i can get for maybe $1500 but then id obviously need to fabricate my own brackets up to adapt the wilwoods to my mounts and correct the brake bias yeah? So in saying that is correcting the brake bias as simple as putting a proportional valve in? Please correct me if this isnt possible but im thinking this would be my shopping list? V spec front rotors 6 piston wilwood calipers on the front using my standard rear rotors with wilwood 4 piston calipers on the back, good quality pads, custom braided lines, motul fluids and a proportional valve do-able for around $2500 and my time in making brackets and install??? Id like to hear some peoples opinions on some of the brake kits they have used and what their opinion is of what i propose to do and possibly any recommendations for my shopping list obviously the aim of this exercise is to get the best stopping power for the least amount of money. Id also really appreciate some name drops on who sells this stuff at competitive prices! aaaaand GO!
  20. I've got an autotechnica cover that I got from my local spare parts shop they are bout $130 but paid bout $95 trade price best cover out there to my knowledge has vents and breathable soft material. The large fits my R33 gtst nicely and just fits a gtr cause of the rear wing mainly and that its slightly beefer all round
  21. Im running 25psi and 336kw actually hahaAgree with jez dont be soft BOOST it mate
  22. lHaha i have a 2way id say 1.5 would be better for the street or an R34 diff if $$$ are tight
