  1. I had resistor stuck in my head but later corected myself can we confirm the coils are the same for 20 and 26
  2. Serries 2 and neo 25 coils are different to 20 and 26 I know that for sure
  3. I'm fairly sure they are they run the same ignitor as far as in aware
  4. The coils sound dead but try the resitor first it's the silver and black box that sits on top of the coil pack cover. I have coil packs and a resistor you can try to find out the problem I'm on the coast where in syd you live?

  8. Ok so all interior is out removed about 50kg of sound deadeing. Motor is still at the shop still trying to find decent priced pistons. Wasnt happy with the front mount so I'm moving it forward more which means cutting the bar oh well. Can't see to much happening till the new year.

  10. I have one and one With external gate. I don't recon the coating is worth the money a $50 heat shield is the go
  11. luv psi the controller should be fine i think its more of a gate issue. i think it made my turbo laggy because i only had the 7 pound spring so the controller was holding back 11 psi its to much. try and get your gate as close as possible to boost pressure then use the controller to fine tune. how did you go with the manifold
  12. I'll post before he does car feels wicked to drive very responsive. eBay gate is no good put my turbosmart gate on running 13 pound creeps to 15 great turbo. Jez can say the number it's just running gate pressure has a very fat torque curve kando you did it again
  13. did you replace the vac lines could have a split in there some where. have you snapped the knock sensors not sure how they are on a 26 but i snapped one on my 20 and it wouldnt idle

  15. the cover plate in the boot for the fuel pump is my guess my 32 had the same problem. the gasket was gone so i just run a small bead of gasket goo around the cover plate let it dry then screwed it back down problem solved for fuel smell. as for stalling clean the afm check your plugs
  16. if you dont know how to do it pay somebody. its a painful job when replacing studs and has to be done carfully the amount of people iv had calls from and drilled into a oil gallery is stupid
  17. i just drilled a serries of holes through mine neatly. so it gets the best of both worlds all comes doen to what your happy with
  18. do a comp test on it and get your injectors clean. should aleays try and fill up at a quater if you ever get to see the bottom of a fuel tank you would never drop it low again. you need to get them cleaned properly your motor is worth it
  19. maybe shit fuel. how long since you changed your fuel filter? how low do you run your tanks?

  23. are you talking about easy outs? are you drilling the holes straight? so many people drill it crooked and make more problems then they started with
  24. dont use a blow torch if the head is still on the block. you have to dril it out to a bigger thread then helicoil only option if you have hacket up the thead
  25. Not even that it's been sitting there for over 2 years haha even smells like oil. Not putting my precious pump in the will suck it all out and wipe the tank down tomorrow before I do
