  1. That sucks man get the stud removed the put a new one in with thread locker and hope it never has to be changed again.
  2. I'll do it for you mate message me if interested 0449831518. I can come down there tho it would be easier if you could make it up to Gosford is that possible? Talk about prices and how you want things done when I see the car
  3. It's on the bottom of his and my posts
  4. Run the external gate I was running a td06 on my 20 internal gate looked not the best so I made it to external. The kit comes with everything to make it work you will need to change your dump not a hard job at all. You can even maintain stock manifold and modify to make external check fabrication thread for how it looks. But v band much easier to work with
  5. My guess would be yes as you do with most coolers
  6. Your prob best to take it to a tuner and they can look over the whole map for you
  7. What's the reason for going such a thick cooler will block a lot of airflow to the radiator
  8. It shouldn't go anywhere near the pump sure you have the piping the right way
  9. There is a bearing case that stop it getting anywhere near the cooler haha. It can go back up the manifold and slip into the engine when the valve is opened 9 times out of 10 it won't but still that chance. Also your want to look at the rear housing of the turbo that's the turbine wheel that's the one that will go more then likely if it's not that wheel check the front but I doubt it. By memory its a 6 bolt flange on the dump 4 bolts 2 nuts I think it's a 13 mm spanner bit of a pain to undo but not impossible. Feel free to ask questions if you get stuck
  10. Beside the wheel arch with full pen will have a cross pipe to strengthen more. Will run roof bars for passenger and drivers side which will end near the a pillar
  11. If he didn't make them just sells them what advise can he give me? This is turning into a new plenum thread
  12. There is to much advertiser in this thread should be deleted
  13. I'm not trying to compete with you mate like I said your in Vic and we are in nsw. I'm more then capable of bending up my own pipe so it's not nessasery to buy yours. I don't know y you sign up to sau today then start haggling saying your products are better the chances are they are both equal quality. Do you make the cages yourself or are you a sales manager? One again I'm not trying to compete with you or anyone for that matter as people will buy off company's they trust and had experience with before.
  14. Turbo kit sold deposit taken everything else still for sale
  15. Your Vic where in nsw looks like you have a good thing going down there simular to what me and jez are getting into. I personally guarantee quality of all product produced. Iv been in the fabrication game for 9 years contact either me (BSA customs) 0449 831 518 or jez (DVS tuning and mechanical) 0414 879 711 for quotes on our products
  16. I think it's very possible to do a half cage on the weekend a bolt in cage would take a bit longer I'm guessing but both me and and jez are very cabable of fabricating the cages. Some pics of other cage designs would be great.
  17. Pull the dump off and have a look at you turbine if there is one. Like mafia said check cooler piping. Don't drive it untill you find the problem if it is a blown turbo there will be bits of ceramic everywhere if some gets into the motor then hello rebuild. Also is it a rb34 strocker or did you mean r34? Guessing it's a rb25 neo. If it is the turbo then pull it all off including manifold and ensure it's all clean also drop the cat as it will be full of turbine wheel. When my turbo blew made hardly any noise if you have a loud exhaust you wont hear it. Check list Check for split /popped silicone hoses Remove dump check turbo turbine wheel if gone remove turbo and manifold also cat converter If its neither of these drop the cat it may be blocked and will cause little or no boost These are my experiences in the past they may help otherwise I'm not sure
  18. That pipe coming off mine is for the crankcase vent iv made ones with the bov return and I set it so it faced the turbo would be silly to have it straight
  19. Iv made I few just easier with the joiner
  20. Will u do a better price for pistons, bearings, rod bolts if so I'll take them if they fit a rb25det
  21. I have a whole engineering workshop to work at. I know it won't be cheap but after doing one I can figure out how to do it faster and make it cheaper I'm not saying your wrong. I believe a can get it right one day could be a while before it happens but good things take time
  22. Just looked on google look like it would be a hard thing to make but rewarding just have to figure out how make it work proper runner lengths all that stuff back to the drawing board. Thanks heaps mate helping a tone just thought of a great idea how to use the same sort of setup with twin tb
  23. I'll have a look might be a good thing on a rb
  24. Do you have a photo of one?
