  3. nice pic paul - TWOOGLE must have so much more potential considering that your suspension isnt even setup. what did it end up making awkw? im sure its somewhere in this thread but reading thru almost 30pages seems painful

  5. what a great find - thanks for sharing! 2 q's: - does the 09 porsche have a dry sump from factory or is this a race spec engine? - how do they simulate the torque in those gear changes? it sounds like its running through each gear around a track (some type of dyno?) awesome stuff

  9. ^ that is how i understand it, failure occurs between the oil pump drive & outside edge of crank collar
  10. as previously discussed greg - i think your above idea & in particular the spline drive is right on the money!!! hypothetically speaking, it is much better having the stress over say 12 edges rather than 2 edges, but then i also wonder why hasn't anyone done this in the past?
  11. hey gary - you should go straight to the horses mouth & speak to jim from crd about the nitto pump...he has had over 20 years experience with the gtr & has been exposed to countless pumps (n1, tomei, jun, stock). he will give you the low down in about 5min
  12. well thats a timebomb waiting to happen. i had a stock bottom end with gtrs setup - 9mths later BANG (362awkw)! another stock bottom end with gtss setup - 6mths later BANG (322awkw)!
  13. oh & the nitto pump is very well priced when compared to the tomei/jun
  14. listen to paul (dirtgarage) - i spoke to my tuner about this exact subject & it was simply explained it to me like this: "the n1 pump has a sintered steel gear which is more likely to shatter under load whereas the nitto pump has a billet gear which literally has chewed up bits of a cast iron block in a recent engine failure"...need i say anymore

  16. i have the same controller - regarding the boost setting my tuner set this to manual mode as the auto mode is not as accurate (u will read this in the supplied user manual) regarding the speed sensor - forget about that as i emailed blitz direct in japan & they claim that the speed sensor on the gtr is not compatible with the controller? i decided to leave the speed sensor as is
  17. come to think of it - mark berrys hi octane r32gtr with rb26 was running gcg modified garrett -5s which cracked over 400awkw as shown on the ignition dvd: im not sure if he is running the same turbine setup on his new rb30 r34gtr: ...maybe somebody like beerbaron would know this as i think he is well versed in the circuit racing scene
  18. im pretty disapointed with my setup, its become a lag monsta NOT in all seriousness, have u been in a 26/30 with -10s or gtrs's? my other question, do u think gtss's on a 26 are laggy?

  23. u state that it made "513HP ON 20PSI" is this awkw? also, did u run it on a higher boost level or is this the max power level?
