  1. Just wondering if a bigger burnout will give me a better 60'/ 1/4 mile time. My current method is to just dump it in 2nd and feather the throttle until it grips up. If I do a brake stand and hold the revs at say 5000 in 2nd until they really start smoking, am I likely to get a better launch and 1/4 time? I have my 60' down to a consistent 1.8x on Federal SS595's....can this be improved via the burnout. What are other peoples burnout techniques?

  4. I have one. Fair condition, has 2 chunks out of it like someone has been digging at it with a fingernail or something. $50 + delivery. Located in Brisbane
  5. I have one of the Arospeed ones from a recent group buy, Brand new, $80 delivered. In Brisbane.
  6. Same for S1 and S2 Noel
  7. Hard to tell from the pics, but I'm guessing an HID retrofit
  8. Rexs are girls cars....just ask the missus
  9. For anyone else giving this a go...To avoid rounding the screws that hold the injector "hats" in place, stick a stubby screwdriver in the screw and give it a good whack with a hammer. This should break the seal on the screw and they come out easily.
  10. eeewwwwwww
  11. Maybe that's what your insecure and paranoid little mind translated it to. That's your problem....see a therapist Thank Christ for that. I have 2 children of my own, I don't need any more in my life. There was never a competition mate. Stop posting like "hard GTR-man", knocking RWD cars and it might not happen again. I was simply pointing out that you don't actually have the skills to back-up your statement. That is the last you will hear from me on the matter. Good day
  12. I didn't say a word to you the whole run.....get your facts straight I believe it was something like "you need to learn how to drive your car" but it wasn't me who said it. Maybe you heard it as "you are shit..." I have no idea what group of guys you are talking about, but anyone who knows me knows I would NEVER be against mountain runs being organised. Quite the contrary.
  13. The Supra had stock brakes
  14. We drove it at a pace we felt comfortable with. There was no "toughness" about it. You drive like an old woman, as your QR time indicates. If you wish to prove otherwise, show up at the May 17th trackday as you have stated and prove me wrong. Surely that's a safe enough environment for you, and you wont have any passengers to worry about Please don't embarrass yourself by spouting anymore bullshit.
  15. "I drive at a speed that is safe for me and my passengers"........and get smashed by N/A Supras and GTST's
  16. People in glass houses.........
  17. GTR brace doesn't fit a GTST
  18. The tank is 65L not 60 I consistently get 450km to 55L (mixed driving) - Mods are: High flowed turbo, 555cc injectors, fuel pump, PowerFC etc - ~230rwkw The best I have seen is 626km for 58L on a Brisbane to Sydney trip, so mostly closed loop cruise at ~3000rpm
  19. A vote here for Godzilla Motorsport - Mark Jacobson knows how to tune an RB!
  20. Interested, but a few questions- I notice the rear bar is cut either side of the exhaust - was this necessary to make it fit. Also, is it twin pipe all the way to the rear muffler? or does it go back to a single pipe before that. More pics of the rear section would be appreciated.
  21. Wooooot! Pity I had to work today
  22. Ricer!

Pretty sure there is a 12 in it with more practice. Thanks to Fineline for some salty sea dog drag racing tips
