  5. Short engine sold pending payment
  6. Hi mate. Yeah I've used Martin. He does know his shit but IF you want your off boost sorted for fuel economy you gotta make that pretty clear to him, as he didn't want to do it on my 32 (read : Very lazy). Still he's probably the #1 pick in SA, just gotta get him to tune EXACTLY what you want. The Yoko ADVAN sport v103 are you talking about ? I run them on my R33GTR and retailed for $790 each as 275/35/R18 when Sambo was running Tyrepower. He gave them to me for $650 each so yes they are expensive, but they're Y rated tyres for going 300km/h + Oh I forgot to add, Martin at Willall is expensive for tuning.
  7. or $6000 delivered for short engine
  8. How about $7500 delivered for long engine anyone ?
  9. Am very negotible on price so don't be afraid to PM some offers.
  10. Hi again As we speak I have a really tough RB26 being completed. Was going to keep as my spare drag motor but just spent enough rebuilding my current motor. Would rather sell than having it sit around. I can sell as a short or long motor depending on what you want and can ship anywhere. Specs of long motor are as follows: RB26 short motor with: R32/33 sump complete with oil pickup and front 4.11 diff Crack tested and X rayed RB26 block rebored 20 thou oversized (0.5mm. Takes capacity to 2599cc) Crack tested and balanced R32 crankshaft with JUN oil pump drive collar fitted New Crower steel billet conrods (the best money can buy) balanced to within 1 gram New 86.5mm CP forged pistons with CP rings and oversized gudgeon pins New King racing bearings for big end and mains (look them up. top fuellers use them. tolerances second to none) Nissan N1 oil pump Tomei 1.5mm block oil restrictor No water pump because of R32 or R33 fitment (they're different) Long motor additions if required: Tomei 1.2mm metal head gasket RB26 head complete with reset valve clearance Will include Xtreme single plate 9 puck ceramic clutch pull type with flywheel (done 5000km) bolted up if buying long motor (if using pull) Can also include standard twin turbo manifolds if required Am asking around $8500 ono for long motor or $6500 ono for short motor. Can discuss price depending on what you want fitted, I am flexible. (eg. no sump/diff, no head ect.) Shipping may even be free depending on location but will definitely be reduced over cost price. Am willing to accept deposits and pay off engine before delivery also. All balancing and prep work done by Rick Corbett engineering in Adelaide and assembled by Lyle King in Alice springs who is a gun on RB26 engine assembly (Has over 40 years in engine assembly - done many high HP japanese engines - GTR, SUPRA ect). Has done my current R32 with the same bottom end combo as above and has made over 500kw at wheels on 30 psi boost. Already done 10.7 on low power/boost and hoping to do 9's this year. This is as tough a bottom end as it gets without going a billet $10000 crank (which isn't needed as Mark Jacobsen uses a balanced stock crank!) I can be contacted on 0401 779 905 at anytime for anymore questions. Motor will be ready within the month (still at Rick Corbett engineering sizing pistons to rebored block right now) This is a great deal and a brand new bottom end that'll have to be run in. Why buy a used bottom end with an unknown amount of kms when you can have this. Will post pics in the next two weeks. Cheers everyone Ben
  11. Trying to find the time to run my car in. Still done less than 400km. D'oh! Regarding Adelaide tuners from above posts- Turbo tune are a bit *** from personal experience (wouldn't go again) and Morpowa and Tilbrook use Martin Donnon from Willall Racing to tune their cars. In fact, nearly everyone tuning anything remotely serious in Adelaide sub contracts Donnon to do their tuning - V8 or import. He really is a cut above everyone else in SA.

    Need Rb26

Mate, you've got a PM. I think you'll be interested.
  13. Come on, some one must have a cheap set ?
  14. Need RB26 rocker covers as cheap as I can get. Not paying for some blinged up ones as I don't want them. No coilpack or cam gear covers needed, just rockers.
  15. $150 posted for rocker covers only ?
  16. Who's this ? I'm in Alice springs with the 330kw @ wheels 33 GTR (V-SPEC) and 550kw @ wheels 32 GTR (GODZILR). Wouldn't mind the Camshafts for the 33. Still got them and are there any mods to head to fit ? (My 32 required a fair bit of material removed for the lobes to clear with my Apexi cams)
  17. My R33 gtr has been on four different dynos, all within 3 kw of each other, not changing tune. Dallas had 3kw lower than the highest reading in Adelaide, so his dyno is pretty accurate considering all the varying geographical, climtate, operator, wheel/tyre ect. factors considered. The figures seem to vary alot between makes though ie. a Dynodynamics vs Mainline. Seems to be up to 10% lower on Mainline.
  18. Yeah just running it in quietly. Might go up the highway a couple of hunderd k's tommorow - then it's dyno time - again.
  19. "Number five is ALIVE !!!!"
  20. march 20, 2010 - first meeting for "street series". Hopefully it's head up racing.
  21. I have driven this clutch before mate, that's what I'm saying. It's a prick of a thing for cruising, but I didn't buy it for that. Coming from over 15 years of racing motocross and supercross interstate, going in a straight line is bloody boring. I don't care if I was in a car doing 6 second quarters, it's still boring. Yes I like acceleration and it is satisfying when a run all comes together, but it's a lot of cost for very little exitement factor. Choosing corner lines, corner exit timing, braking distance into corners, carrying corner speed ect. has a 1000 times more skill involved than drag racing - especially if your driving a car RWD, slicks, transbrake with a properly setup auto. May as well have a chimp at the wheel. All the skill goes into car setup - not actually driving. Manual cars take more skill but it's a handicap for drags anyway. The only reason I want to get into the 9's is to prove that's what the car should be capable of to myself. To prove that a privateer not a workshop built and funded car can be competitive against Australia's best GTRs. A 9 anything will be a huge achievement with a H pattern - only a handfull have ever done it in a GTR. Theo Wollett is the H title holder at 8.99 at a massive 160 mph using a PPG 5 speed dogbox.
  22. I'll be there first meet. Thinking of giving the drags away though, it's a bit of a mugs game for the amount of money it costs to get quicker, track time ect. I am serious about getting my 9 sec pass though, if they don't stop me from doing so first. A mid 9 at 140-145mph should be in the ballpark for what it's capable of on full noise. Specs of engine are: Rebuilt HKS T51S with 1.00 exhaust A/R(was a bit tired) using the Trust 48mm external gate New Trust 8 litre sump complete with baffling, extended pickup and with secondary oil return line from rear of head to sump New RB26 front diff crown and pinion gears New Tomei 1.5mm oil restrictor between head and block New RB26 block oversized 20 thou(86.5mm bore) New ARP main stud kit New Crower conrods with crower rod bolts and oversized gugeon area New CP low silicon content non-cooling channel type 86.5mm pistons, rings and oversized gudgeon pins New ARP head stud kit New ACL race series big end bearings - standard size New King main bearings - standard size New Tomei 1.2mm head gasket and Tomei throttle, intake, exhaust manifold gaskets New Ross tuffbond harmonic balancer New Nitto high volume/pressure oil pump (these are the shit !) New N1 water pump New R34 GTR crankshaft - crack tested and balanced with entire rotating assembly as one to handle 10000rpm (that's balancer, crank, rods, pistons, clutch, flywheel all balanced together as one unit at Rick Corbett engineering in SA) And that's just the bottom end ! Head specs are: My original head casting which was already modified in Japan extensively (don't fix it if it ain't broken I guess) My existing Apexi Step 3 camshafts (8.7mm 280 intake, 9.7mm 280 exhaust) with original cam bolts Existing OS giken cam gears setup in Japan (haven't touched the timing setup) New RB26 intake and exhaust valves (lapped into head by the master) New Tomei 9500rpm rated intake and exhaust valve springs New Tomei titainium valve spring retainers and collets New bronze valve guides New precision shims RB26 lifter shims to reset valve clearance Then there's the rest of the shit in between which I can't be bothered going into I originally bought a short motor from Perth but the machining and assembly sucked ass from a performance shop with a very high pedigree. Wasted like $3000 - $4000 in machining and labour on them. Just shows you why I trust no one now and have the highest respect for my engine assembler. No one in this town will assemble an engine to the exacting standards to which I have witnessed - no one. I will be babying the car for a while though - no dog box, BP 98 fuel on a conservative tune with lowish boost (24psi) and 8500 limiter for first meeting, then I'll crank it back up to 9500rpm, 30psi, Trust dog box and VP109 unleaded. Thinking about entering both cars at superlap in eastern creek in May, it'll be way more fun than quarter crap. Looking at entering the R33 in clubsprint and R32 in open class. Just to drive the 32 at full noise will be awesome round a track, and will give me more info on how to set the car up for circuit work (probably need to run the street tune power wise - I'm sure 450kw + at the wheels BP 98 tune will do) Anyway look out for the new and improved R32 GODZILR driving around about a week after new year (albeit looking like a dickhead trying to drive on the street with the OS giken R3C triple plate clutch smoothly!)
  23. Engine in R32 is in.... $25000 later (parts only!)
  24. $1599 at just jap and in stock. might get it a bit cheaper if you talk to Darron. Cost me over $700 for 12 new nissan exhaust valves when I did my head recently.
