i know this topic has been covered but i can't be bothered finding it and im quickly posting this because im at work. one of my bulbs blew last night and my lights are pretty shitty on the inside so i want new ones. I heard the 06 G35 xenon projectors have really good output, but these lights will be LHD whereas i need RHD lights for our roads and laws, can anyone PLEASE recommend GOOD quality lights around the $500 mark for my 03 V35 Coupe THANKS

I'm from Sydney myself, i know that. We have a 210KW power limit on P plates too. But i have no idea why this law was only intruduced in QLD.. now even more people are going to die on our roads from 17 year olds driving turbo'd cars. The law was only introduced January this year from memory, i haven't heard of anyone that's actually got the exemption but i know that you don't need a reason whatsoever.

you can only get an exemption if your in QLD and your car has a FACTORY turbo with a power to weight ration of less than 125KW/Tonne.. Which is a R32 GTR. But yeah like most of these boys said, you've got years and years to go until you end up getting one. Unless your spoilt and your parents buy it for you.

Thumbs up to this, i agree the wing is over-sized and looks too over the top for a small coupe. But in saying that i do like the bodykit.

You can get the Toyota 86 with a sports pack which includes body kit & a LARGE rear wing, in my opinion the wing is a bit oversized. But, the bodykit gives it a much more aggressive look. I'm yet to sell one of these cars with a sports pack it's around $4,000 extra.

^ Good post, but if that's what he wants to do then go for it. Also depending where you live, these cars are BIG targets for theft. Just food for thought. My first car was a VR commodore and it was an absolute peice of shit that i drove into the ground, start small and work your way up is my opinion.

Haha brilliant, my dad calls my V35 "a poor mans Merc".. he seems to get a lot of humour out of it. But as for people mistaking it for something else, i've never once had someone ask me what it is but i have had people gawking around the car to find a badge (only got the Nissan badge in the front grille and 350GT on the back)
