  2. I always get "Duh.... whats a FJ20, is that the 2.4 litre from the '84 Skylines?" Just got back from the ANTRX dyno day at Blackwood Dyno Tune... 123.4kw atw at stock boost with 3 inch cat back and a HKS pod. S14 running 14psi got 150, and a 180SX with a SR20DET got 113kw. Sweeeeeeeeeeet I beat one of them AFR wasn't too bad either, went from mid 11's to 10.7 at about 120kmh (dyno speed, probably about 7000rpm?) then spiked up to 12.0 at the end of the graph I'm pretty happy. I'll scan the graph later. A Mini got 25kw... I made 5 times what he did heeheehee
  3. Does anyone know what thread the DR30 gearbox drain plugs are? I've rounded both of mine and will need to use the oxy to get them out, and I need to do the oil in the box, but I dont want to take mine out until I have replacements. I've spent the morning trying to find something with similar dimensions but cant find anything
  4. The real Gone in Sixty Seconds Mustang was a '73 Mach 1
  5. That halfcut is almost tempting
  6. No, where on the standard guage does the needle sit?
  7. See if the shop has a camera that takes in the carpark aswell. I'm pushing for one at my shop
  8. What size is it?
  9. Just a thought, what do everyone elses oil pressure guages sit on?
  10. Yeah, its the same unit that does it. Does the malpassi replace the mushroom looking think off the side of the manifold?
  11. Paul Newman has been doing pasta sauces and dressing/mayo for years. All profits go to charity
  12. Its located underneath where the head unit goes in the '30s I think. If it gets a feed from the speed sensor wire then that would be quite useful
  13. Its that annoying bloody stock thing that dings all the time
  14. Yeah I was thinking today that I want to be able to see the screen easily as I'll use the speedo function (will calibrate with a GPS) so I might put it on top of the steering column inside a tek box so it looks like a Jaycar digital speedo. Does anyone know how that annoying 114kmh beeper works? Does it just get a signal from the ecu when the car exceeds 114, or does it recieve the speed signal?
  15. yeah, ie its a defect
  16. Does anyone else have a turbo timer fitted that needed to be spliced into the speed sensor wire? If so, which wire is it? I had a look at the FJ20.com diagram but can't make it out. And where could I mount the timer so that if I want I can still read it, but it can be covered up easily if I ever get pulled over. I was thinking of moving my head unit across to the left and then putting the turbo timer on the rhs of the big gap with a hinged cover above it or something?
  17. Sweet Didnt think of that... I thought it would be something to do with cars with electric sender speedos
  18. Will my computer have a speed sensor wire? I just got my greddy full auto timer and I wouldnt mind being able to use the auto timer and speed functions
  19. Ah well, I'm still getting about 10.6L/100KM so
  20. whats the type c spoiler? do you need to borrow a bonnet?
  21. Makes SFA difference until you're well into illegal speeds
  22. I want to know what all the 'American hype' is? Ok, sure the dubbed version of Initial D is crap but where are the American influences? I can't see any and all the hype I know of started with JMS then continued from the latenight street drifters getting around Adelaide through the first drift day at mallala in 2000 through the Port Gawler days and now the ClubPSI days that are being held. Is there a huge US influence on the East Coast?
  23. I could... just dont put em through a shop One guard is white and one guard is sorta gold though
  24. Guards are the same No, I'm keeping the silly looking things
