Interesting, whats the point though really, it'll slow them down for a while. And by the sounds of it they are trying to cut costs a bit, but at the same time, by introducing new engine and chassis designs etc they are encouraging teams to spend a heap of dollars on relearning- redesigning their systems. So in the end, the ones that throw the most cash at engineering will win, i.e. Ferrari. Fair enough Shumacker is a good driver, but with the cash getting pumped into that team most drivers should be able to get a good result out of it. (Referring to current field of drivers, not me and you) All in all, it should be good to see.

Maybe, but more then likely no, as far as region codes go Australia's in there with New Zealand and southern America. Where as Japan is with Europe, Middle East and South Africa. So really it all depends on how leniant they are over there.

Yeah, only problem really would be rego costs on top of another car etc. But you'd probably save that on petrol and fines and stress from worrying about safety of the car.

Well I dunno about you but a mate did his engine with aerosol can, mind you it was black, and it came up flawless. Many a light coat was done.

First car, holden gemini. Edit, I'll explain more. Cheap to modify, your not gonna drop the right foot and kill yourself. They can be fairly zippy for what they are.. Panels etc are gonna be easy to source and cheap to fix. Insurance and rego will be cheap. (Not to mention if you smash it up it'll blend in with most of the others around).. What better way to find out that cars cost money, the lines between modifying, repairing, and upgrading is a big step. And with a gemi at least you'd be able to track your parts..

This is tragic- I like wrx's, I like skylines and my opinion isn't one sided. an r32 gtr, looks alright outside, nothing to write home about inside, compared to a wrx, nice interior.. Always liked the wrx exterior, the bug eye stuff kinda ruined it but 99 models etc are damn nice. Don't really like that many 33's.. 34's are nice but 4wd gtr is bloody expensive. I'd grab the wrx because its a newer car, but because I don't have enough money for a wrx, back to a 32.

Well, to me powersliding has always seemed out of control. Where-as with a drift you've still got control of the car as sideways as it is. I.e. powersliding to me is when the car is sideways, with all four wheels doing absolutely nothing in the way of forward momentum or directional changes. And that its a power slide and your about to hit a pole;) Who knows, thats how I've always seen it. I know that you can get into slides with power to carry through corners etc, and I don't call that drift.. Alot of cars here flick the ass out coming out of a corner and say, see that drift.. Or fishy it up the road with minor angle on the car and say whoa drifted that. Whereas its more like, wow, you glorified a chirp.. Let me see you keep that fishy going around the next two corners without killing yourself.

Probably a Commodore, unless I had enough cash to mod a 32 to the way I'd want it.
