Hehe... yeah, I know what you mean. I just spent a load of cash on a 15m Nismo limestone wall, but the house just won't run the 1/4 mile any quicker. I'm hoping that the 3" stainless gutter and hi-flow stormwater drain will add a bit of zip though! Wouldn't waste my money on those new Mugen garage doors though - that's just pure rice...

I don't think there are any diff between n/a & tt supra, only when you look at the engine, or at least look at the dashboard instruments then you'll be able to pick it up. Also the gear patterns. the TT has 6 fwd gears while non turbo only have 5, but can sometimes have 6 if upgraded.

The various body kits that ppl put on their supras will also make it even harder to tell, as a tough look supra can turn out to be an n/a, while a very plain looking one could indeed be a twin turbo.

The same as a VS 5.0L Clubsport Commonwhore on my

Hi Steve,

Is that a stock standard N/A Supra with only pod and exhaust ?? Any engine management ?

I'll be very happy if mine is anywhere close to that :( ..

Anyone here know what's the performance of a N/A Supra vs a GTST ?? Probably a mismatch ??

OLD

Hi All,

Now that I've getting myself a Supra, anyone interested in an unloved R33 :( ???

Bye

Richard.

All I can say is I an SOOOOOOOOO jealous! I am a poser at heart, and I love Supra's.

Not sure that I can forgive you for being sick of your skyline after only 3 months though... OK you twisted my arm... take me for a spin in the Supra and I may forgive you... Let me drive and you may not forgive me...

I plan on a Supra next. Don't know much about them though. Finances forbid any purchasers any time soon. Mods on the house...I seriously think I spend more time in my car than my house though. Hmmmmmm Prorities. Serious meditation session required.

Hehee .. just sell your R33 and get an N/A Supra as well, I don't know much about them either :P

Actually, I got tired of it within a month :( I thought it looked pretty bland compared to a Supra, GTO and NSX (My opinion only of course!! :) ). Anyway, when I saw this Supra I knew I had to have it :D .. Hope to keep the Supra for at least 2 years before looking at an NSX next.

Yes, I have to go on one of these cruises one day and see if the Supra can keep up with the GTS-T :( ..

I think most skyliners would hav a supra if they had 2 choose another car!

Darn !!! I wished my girlfriend feel the same as you guys !! :P She thinks the Supra is UGLY and has a hugh arse :shake:, which I have to agree because the longer I looked at it, the bigger the arse appeared to be :) ..

Well, the GTS-T is on a similar price scale as the N/A Supra. The question is, can you live without a TURBO ?? I can, because I drive like Ms Daisy.

haha SimpleLogick your girlfriend sounds like she has the same taste in cars as me - my ex wanted "us" to buy a Supra - i told him it reminds me of a goldfish for some reason - and it does have a huge backside.

Supras are nice yes but for some reason i just couldnt give up my R33 GTST for one.

hippy = i think he is referring to triptronic yes.

Still though. high 14 for a na car is awesome

what does ur average N/A v8 pull? with litle to no tuning as this car has had.

Jash- could u posibly approximate what a TT MkIV with an auto should run down the qtr. (stock) i just want to see if my dad is driving bad or the limits of the car are about 14.11

thanx - Psiker

Stock HSV pull 13sec 1/4mile and the new ls1 GTO and GTS Coupe r in the low 13

Soulja,

I don't want to dissapoint you but if you've ever been to the motorplex then you won't see any stock HSV's pull 13's, they need some work done to do that, and seeing as the GTO's haven't done much better then I doubt they would be in a low 13.

See'ya:burnout:

MMMMM Twin turboed NSX, only problem is there is nothing

better to hope for from there exept Maybe a CLK GTR Merc?

Steve : you can always get a Hyundai and stick on a Z badge :). Actually, I better NOT make fun of Hyundai because I think the Tuberon (sp?) is not a bad looking car at all :P ..

The NSX is a reality but the Merc CLK is a "wet dream" :P

Having said that this is my wet dream :D

In term of car bum :

NSX = Kyllie Minoque

Z32 = Anna Nicole Smith

Supra = Rosanne Arnolds

hippy : I think it's a typo, it's just a 6-sp manual. Not tiptronic.

Nizmo : My gf's idea of a nice car is a Honda Prelude, any thing sportier than that is a goon car :( ..

    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
