well there are plenty that go up for sale in oz, hell even i've got some for sale.. but I note you're not in Oz.

Over in the states I'd try Nissan or Nissan parts places - as I believe they sell the S15 over there...

btw: I don't believe you'll fit 255 on those rims - I've heard 235 is the max width for 16x7's

Guest s14 2.4 turbo

Thanks for the info predator666. I also will try a local importer. Sadly the S15 was never released here. We always get the water downed versions any how. My S14 came with a 2.4 NA motor, I believe the same as your Bluebird, I had to make it turbo. If they did release the s15 it would probably come with that 2.5 NA 4cly motor or something. No Skylines here either:( I dream to one day own my own Skyline, I hope they bring over the new GTR. We did get the 350z which is nice, but no Skyline.

No Skylines in US????

Motorex imports skylines into US, and I believe all that's imported are the GT-R, not GTS-T

Aren't we here the one who gets the water down version? US spec TT Supra got more power than jap-spec supra, which are the only one we can import down here.

And the new 2.5 WRX would not likely to make its way down here, only for US. Oz customers only gets the usual 2.0 litre.

The skyline that motrex brings over, sells for double the price that it sells there for $80,000 US dolars for a newer GTR, and steering wheel is on the wrong side...lol I did not know that about the supra though, we have not had a supra though since 1996. Things are geeting better here subaru 2.5 WRX is a nice suprise to see that we are going to get it. This is a recent change as about 5-7 years ago everything was either mustang or camero if you wanted to go fast. Most japanese companies avoided giving us turbos because we are belived to be only V8 lovers. times have changed for the better. I guess it like when everyone thinks that all americains carry guns. I hear that there are allot more women over there than guys. Is that true? If it is I think I will move there. lol

;)

    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
