pubs that seem to think we want some talentless hack bashing out covers at stupidly loud volume during sunday lunch

were here for a nice feed some quiet brews and a chat you Fstains

+1 for there being zero good parking spots in Perth at all. No matter where you park you always come back to find bird s**t, tree sap, berries/seed things, or to find you were parked near a jealous commodore driver who couldn't resist the frustration of owning a crap car, and runs a key down the side of yours.

Hear hear!! :bomb_ie:

WGMG, is that one friend I'm sure most of us have, that is always bugging you to let them drive your car which is bad enough by itself. But then if like me you're stupid enough to let them, they start torturing it.

Stalling it constantly, one got the clutch pedal stuck in? (never happened to me before or after this), and actually grinding my gears. After getting like halfway round the block, you're like "nup GTFO".

I'm amazed at how bad they were, sure I would've stalled it a few times while getting used to it especially considering the car had a hideous idle hunt when I first got it and stalled by itself.

The downside to owning a Skyline.

WGMG is trying to fall asleep and them checking your phone/clock and see you have to get up for a 6am start because you couldn't fall asleep!

People who can't merge.

People who can't drive.

Women who think they are hot but are fugly.

Women in general.

That woman who owns an 05 sti but leaves it filthy. And it's black too.

Women with 09 M3 that leaves the car filthy... What a waste :'(

Police putting speed cameras at the bottom of steep hills.

Police in general.

f**kwits that order a mcdouble in McDonalds drive thrus and have them as 3 separate orders but all pay by cash!

Commodore drivers.

That guy at red rooster that shows off his Hyundai elantra with a body kit and mad wheels to the employees in it and thinks he's fully sik! Get a real sports car please.

Women.

Children.

People who can't control pets.

When f**ktards try to race you in excels.

Um... That's about it for now...

i hate ppl who live in apartments in north bridge and keep complaining about the weekley parties we have.

YOU LIVE IN f**kING NORTHBRIDGE WHAT DO U EXPECT! if u want quiet live in the f**king suburbs.

WGMG - the weak as piss tissues they give you at work. Just got an attack of the sneezes, grab 2 tissue to be safe, fold the f**kers in half to be extra safe (dont wanna infect my coworker next to me because he is a body builder who looks like a condom stuffed full of walnuts) and then sneeze into the carefully folded mass, only to blow the whole package to smithereens, and cover my left hand monitor with snot.

So now I have a roid rage filled beefcake glaring daggers at me, a LCD screen covered in snot and spit, and fragments of wet tissue strewn throughout my keyboard.

WGMG is when you're casually walking along and you're about to pass someone because there walking f*king slow then when you're about to overtake the kunts start moving across as well.

wgmg today (and since we were stupid enuf to sign up) Fing bigponds shite service which drops out at exactly the wrong moment i just missed out on the baby bargain of the century on ebay by $1 cause my conection dropped out

now where am i guna find a $300 baby seat for $71?

wgmg is peple who don't re-read the post they have just finished writing, to check for spelling mistakes.

Im no grammar nazi, Im sure i get my there their and they're mixed up all over the shop, but peOple who obviously don't even bother reading what they've written, shit me.

One of the many driving related things that happens to me every single time im on the freeway is, Im cruising along at 100 with cruise control on and in a 100 kmh speed limited vehicle.

I'm slowly catching the vehicle in front, so lets say they are sitting on 95. Thats fair enough, nothing wrong with that.

I change into the overtaking lane and one of the following things happens.

Now keep in mind, these things happen even when there are streams of cars passing this person,, i can be sitting there for a couple o minutes waiting for a gap so i can get past aswell. not tailgating either,, ive got 50 back-seat drivers sitting behind me.

1) The second my indicator goes on, they speed up, i dont even have to move across, just the indicator is enough to scare them into acceleration.

2) I move out and start to overtake, when the nose of my coach gets up beside their drivers window they crap themselves and tromp it.

3) This one is the most annoying, they let me get almost all the way past them, then they speed up and sit with their front bumper level with my rear bumper. They just sit there and after a while of being stuck out there in the overtaking lane i just have to throw the indicator on and wait for them to wake up.

Its pretty rare to pass someone on the freeway in a coach without one of these things happening.

WGMG - People that take advantage of others. Especially when the person being taken advantage of, is the sort of person who is always happy to help out a mate. These type of people should be treasured as mates, not used or ripped off just because you think you can get away with it.

What really grinds my gears today is wankers posting crap on a thread that has nothing to do with the original question and talking a whole bunch of shit about whatever setup you are working on. Fckrs your mother needs a slap for not raising you right. Also what grinds my gears is people on motorbikes riding down the middle lane to stop in front of my skyline then take off slowly ruining my drag launch practice. +1 Dale too. Grrrrr

    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
