Ohhhhhhhhhhhh my god wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Take off dash put on new dash? Cut around the edges make it fit?

i like it because it suits and fits perfectly....i cant stand gadgets that are mounted onto the dash and stick out n stuff. just looks outta place.

fliptop......i dunno.....rather have it displaying already. how much cheaper....i havnt even got a idea how much it would cost me to get the GTR setup.

umm

i dont think the mfd is functional in his car

sorry bad with car terms.....mfd?

i dont really know what the GTR monitors feauters are but i was told it has a mapping system?

thats wat i mainly want. i cant stand hand held navmans n stuff i want a proper monitor sittin there with no flips and stuff and a working map sytem (envies my mums bmw)

It surely can be done and as I understand, it's not massivly difficult.

Having said that, I'm sure it's not a plug and play.

When you do a search, make sure you change the date it searches back to to like 365 days or longer

he invested over 50grand into the car. i dont think he'd have done any of it himself.

if u really want a setup like that, why dont u go fliptop with an aftermarket computer gadget which tells ya temp, speed etc ? it'd be alot cheaper.

would have been cheaper just to buy a GTR in the first place :O

It can be done, just a matter of tapping into the correct wires coming off the ECU I belive..

There was a number of guys in the UK that were installing them in them in R33 GT-R's and also hong kong skyline club were doing them..

suggest you have a look in this thread..

Nag G readings can't be done off what the cars have in them.

I guess you could buy aftermarket G sensors and hook them up somehow, but really why bother spending so much money when you could buy a gtr.

I understand people spending heaps on there cars to make them better and what not. By when spend the money to make the car into another model of car that can just be bought? and will be nowhere near as good as a genuine gtr?

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
