To be PRECISE :), if you take Wattletree Road down from the city direction, past burke road, turn right at waverly road and you'll see it on your left :P.

Beware, do not wash your car there at 10.55pm. The thing will just switch off even though it says it closes at 11pm. The last time i had to drive off with foam all over my car :)

How bout just wash it by yourself @ the front of your place? lol

 yup, easiest to do it on your driveway....

and i'm not worried about water restrictions - a few minutes with a hose is not going to deplete the states water supply.

- get those dumb fockers who water their lawn for +3 hours in summer just to see it evaporate almost straight away...

Yeah i thought of that too, but there wasn't any tap.

I doubt at a car wash place they will actually place a tap there for people to use for FREE.

there are usually taps on premesis at car washes, but you need a key, or actual handle + adaptor to turn it on ... i know, cause we have a tap the same at work, and ive seen them at several car washes, i shld take it along :P

Under the current "permanent water saving rules" you're allowed to wash your car with a normal hose so long as it's fitted with a trigger nozzle

Vehicle cleaning

Cars, boats and other vehicles can be cleaned using a hand-held hose, but only if it is fitted with a trigger nozzle. Buckets, watering cans and high-pressure water cleaning units can also be used.

Next time i'll remember to bring that knob along with me to that carwash. Just In Case! don't want to drive off again in a car full of foam.

    • Maybe of interest, a little while ago I spoke to one of the guys from Rajab Racing Developments and he hinted to me they could be developing a new cast exhaust manifold. Incidentally, they have already made one for the barra and it looks functional
    • So Bathurst coming up so really need to get this new ECU in. I regret going to flex fuel and all the headaches associated with DBW with cruise etc....a miss the simplicity of Power Fc   I make enough power that I should have just gone back to 98 but...anyway Turns out with the std inlet I cant really go any bigger than 60mm DBW so wasnt able to play with that aspect of the update.
