Hey, no stress man.

I understand that everyone is upset about this taking soo long, and to tell you the truth, so would I be if I was on the other end.

I spoke to the benders today and they will have the parts ready tomorrow morning.

So either tomorrow or Monday I will take all the bits (other than those which have been requested either bare or speically coated) to the powder coaters and get them done.

I expect that to take a few days.

I hope to be able to send them next week.

Although it may take a few trips to the post office as the boxes are quite big, and my car is quite not.

BASS OUT

Pete,

We all understand that circumstances can conspire against us, and it is appreciated that you have taken the time to explain yours.

Is there a chance you could post up some pics of the first guides, so that we can see what we are getting, and hopefully replace the 4 months of frustration with a little bit of excitement!

lmao ... l've gotta say l haven't been stressed cos l forgot about this thread and the deflector  ... been so busy with everything apart from cars, the stagea was the last thing l've been thinking about.

Glad to hear its all working now Bass ... i assume you'll contact us that are collecting to work out a suitable time ... or maybe we can rope the SAU Xmas BBQ with the Stagea cruise and collect then off you on the 26th?! Just an idea.

Once I get the bits back from bending tomorrow I'll post some more pics.

Melbourne pick up.... the bbq is perfect!

Top idea!

good to hear its all just about finished bass.

i think anyone who is involved in this buy will have learnt from it eh?

in that if they are to start a group buy of their own on how to organise stuff before hand and maybe have ensured the product etc. is gonna fit and be workable on their own car of if they dont have the same vehicle that it at least fits the model designated before advertising the availability.

i think that these are a few good points that we could all take away from this buy for future reference, don't ya agree?

Just picked up the scoops.

Found a good powder coater whom I'm going to take the bits to Monday morning.

YAY!

Thanks again for your patience.

LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
