Looks awesome, Ian!

Funny thing, look at where Andy has quoted your message, and the angle you've taken your photo at is the same as Andy's, and it looks like Andy's stripped off the wheel arch flares and taken another shot of his own car!

i rekon andy! wanna sell me your suspension?? :)

Give Ben a call at North Shore Prestige. He ma be able to get you a set for your model. There are still sets on Monster Imports.

I love the Beard! Fits the sleeper look so much better.

Cheers

Andy

lol actually nick youre right it does look like that!!

i was VERY close to buying an ARX with body coloured flares. but it was a little out of my price range.

ill speak to ben after new year, i spent all my cash on wheels and tyres for this year

Ben cannot get the Bilstein suspension for the RS/RX anymore!

His supplier has said that production on that suspension kit has ceased!!! :)

Try Import Monster. I have seen a few still on there.

Otherwise, it looks like we will have to grab the Nismo kit (if it is still available).

ohh what??

hmm nismo..... tasty. me likey nismoey.

i wonder what the price difference is?

When I was looking in October, the Nismo S-tune kit was anywhere from $200-$500 cheaper than getting the Bilstein.

Not adjustable though.

My mate has it on his Stag. VERY nice ride

* thinks about driveway incline * :(:/

i dont care about adjustability. once set, id have no reason to change it. nismo do a lot of work with their suspension, im sure it would be fine.

It is a very nice ride. Comfortable with stuff-all roll.

My only concern is when the Nismo kit starts to get tired and need replacing.

By that time, they will probably have ceased manufacture... (100,000kms is about 28 months for me :( )

yeah i see your point!

maybe ill need to buy 2 sets :(

Mate, you are far too kind! :)

Your generosity in beyond measure!! :bunny:

* (falsely) assumes one to be purchased for me * :/

Yeah, think you could make it up in your S2?

Bastard thing is if I have 2 other people in the car, they have GTFO before I go up my drive!

Very annoying!

    • Thanks @Duncan Ride height is fine. I think it's almost stock tbh. Happy to share a pic. I don't actually have a regular mechanic as haven't lived in Sydney too long. Could you or anyone recommend any shops in Sydney?
    • You just need a different blue slip shop (preferably one you regularly use as a mechanic), and make sure the coil overs are as close as possible to standard height
    • yeah the sugar refining companies were pushing for the same in Oz originally, all fuels were going to have 10% ethanol to make them "cheaper" (noting, that the loss in l/100 might be greater than the decrease in price). I guess they won that fight in Canadia
    • GTSboy, thank you again. i’ve been reading all the other SAU RB25 vacuum line threads and you have the utmost patience for people asking “where do my vacuum lines go”. it’s appreciated. i did also enlist a few other RB guys local to me.  i would like to run 5 to 4. turbo pressure side to wastegate actuator. i would like to run 3 to 1. power steering air valve line to intercooler outlet. (this is how it was previously). i was told 2 is the bleed port for the boost solenoid - which i’m not running - so should be capped.   anyone see any problems with that?
    • So yes. All of them. Something like 98% of all fuel in the USA has 10% ethanol: https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/ethanol-fuel-basics It's labelled as like, AKI, 87, 91, 93 with an E10 or E5 or E15 label on the pump. At a certain point, it's not just "E10" instead of 91. It is 91, 95, 98, and all of them have 10% Ethanol in them. You can also get E85 and E30 which is why you do see some people rolling around with E30 tunes in them.
