yeah thats Frankies old car, he used to be around SAU all the time, kinda disappeared when he down graded to his new car (a hummer i think he moved to the states)

I did a couple of laps of wakefield park in it, it was a good car, well set up suspension.

Hope whoever has it now is enjoying it :D

Hey Akeenan can you plz have a look in the nismo catalogue on how much they are? Ive been trying to chase down one of these for ages with no luck. Only other place to buy the oem wing and the uprights are carmate, trying to find one cheaper. Need a new wing to replace the huge factory ones.....

リアウイング用ステー

角度調整機構付、ウイング部分は純正品を使用して下さい。

ステー:アルミ製黒アルマイト仕上げ

マウント:FRP製黒ゲルコート仕上げ(要塗装)

For the R34 2 door coupe, angular adjustment mechanism which attaches to the original rear wing. The mount is made from a black alumite gel finished aluminium mount. FRP black gel coat finish (main point paint) 96030-RNR40

YEN 65,000

pretty damn expensive just to hike up the rear wing a bit.

hahah that yellow peice of shit !! :(

I bet Franky will pop up out of no where and reply to this like he always does !

Nice car, looks good, and as duncan said the suspension was well setup.

Full whiteline kit with tanabe lowered springs I think.....

Duncan, he WANTED to get a Hummer but last I heard he was putting around in a work issue SUV or something, he is in NYC now and has no need for a car.

Will be coming back later on in the year and has something up his sleeve for the sau boys ;)

thanks for the heads up shonen! i would'nt have found this thread otherwise! :whistling:

heya all! some familiar faces here! :) erik (of course, the sucker who bought my car hehehe j/k!), mr wakefield himself duncan! nick aka pin up boy for sau! =)

good job on the research akeenan, yup, that looks to be the part for the wing. unfortunately with imports you dont quite know what to expect! :pwned:

that was a top car, only thing left was to squeeze more power out of it but i didnt quite get there and neither did erik, maybe dr_mafia will! that car was brought in as is with the exception of the front bar which was replaced with the top secret copy (and all the hypo bits of course which was all part of so called my "investment")

this is what it looked like originally from japan, that front lower lip (all beit with a terrible paint match) lasted all of 2 weeks before succumbing to a petrol station driveway where it just completely ripped off! =)

dr_mafia, what do you have installed for its 3rd generation in oz!!!

hahah no i dont have a h2 hummer, although i wish i did! i just rented it whilst i was in miami =) the h3 will be in oz in 2007 anyway! my only association with cars these days is with the r/c kind ie. my tamiya =) that'll change soon. back in oz by december!

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
