same boat as me, povo 31 build... mine has no panels at the moment, new bushes/balljoints make it feel goood... almost finnished my suspension, motor change before end of year!

GL

hahaha 31 is number 1!

Good to see mate! Now quit your whinging - 31s are almost a ceffie :) (s13 coilovers with slightly stiffer fronts to accomodate the anchor-weight of the RB and they can handle almost the same as an s13 oooh baby)

Even Grants' in on this convo omg! Its Luke from mossy high :)

Im just about to sell my s3 auto silhoette to get a s3 manual silhouette in mint condition.

My plan is just to fit a minispool, extractors (already got them), and some low hard springs, then have a daily drifter. (my 180s NEVER going in another carpark. weekender only).

Go hard son!

This one is a boat. With s13 suspension in it it would be nice - it actually feels good and I can see it being a rewarding car with some good suspension.

Unfortunately I'm giving up. I'll probably buy another car in the next 5 years but for now it'll be staying stock. I'll be selling up my parts over the next couple of weeks - which is a pity cos I had the majority of bits to make the r31 a fun drifting package :\

geez, im sorry to hear that mate, i hope things get better for you soon :(

i have a heap of suspension spares after writing mine off... GTS2 front struts with camber tops, bilsteins, ebc green stuff pads+RDA rotors(100km on em), height adjustable rear bilsteins, lovell springs on both. whiteline swaybars, whiteline strutbrace. with these mods my car handled amazingly. now looking for a ceffie

hahaha i spray painted 2 panels of my old r31 before i sold it, i wrote HELP! on the roof and f**k u on the boot, was a gooood nite. i think the kid is probably still driving around with help on the roof.

that kid was me

sold the car ages ago and got me a silo

and rubbing compound is great stuff :D

    • Perfect, I'll get to it this winter then at the same time as I weld on my anti squat kit.
    • Alright so my 32 only has one temperature no matter what degree you set it to. I’ve tried disconnecting the servo motor arm and moving it either direction and got no change. I’ve fixed the leak in my AC and re charged it and with it on and clutch engaged it still blows hot even though the low pressure pipe going to the firewall is ice cold. Both heater core hoses are hot while running as well. Diagnostic code showed 24 for intake air temperature sensor. Anybody got any ideas?
    • I said Garrett style. Not Garrett genuine. And something in the G30 550 range is what you want. Not those pokey little old fashioned T28 sized things. The intake ports in the head are small. There is little benefit in fattening up the runners and leaving ths actual ports small. Just run what you've got. And on the subject of Nistune vs Haltech etc..... You know you can control the transmission with decent standalone ECUs these days, right? No need to keep any of that old Nissan bullshit. Don't get me wrong - I use Nistune on my Neo. But it is a DET, so the number of bodges and workarounds I had to do to make it work in a chassis without ABS, TCS, etc, is quite small compared to the herniated arsehole you will have trying to make it work on a motor that doesn't have some of the things that the turbo ECU wants to see. Just easier to bite the bullet and go aftermarket outright.
    • Hmm. Only when the f**king thing is actually working. Still can't find the leak. And that's with dye being put in the last 3 times!
