Right well i got R32gts25, lightest line with the biggest n/a engine, best combination. Got NFI of power but mods are a k&N panel filter and a big cannon muffler for 'pure rice fx', i cant afford a full system at the moment so i just made my car look like it atleast has one, sounds like it does to.

looks like you guys have sorta gone off on a tangent, but ill put mine in here anyway..

R32 GTS Type-S, RB20DE, 3" Hi-Flo, to 4" exit. (Not sure of the make, don't read japanese) ROH adrenaline Rims (8x16) on Sava Intensa 225x50xR16 (VERY good everyday tyre for the price)

NB im not sure what the Type S means.... it has HICAS, Bigger Clutch than even the GTS-T's and the GTR Steering wheel.. so im buggered if i know - Any ideas?

Do we get marks for the stereo in this section..?

And i must agree with ryno - NO comparison between the R32 and the R33 for handling - might not be any different, but it sure as hell feels better...

pstanbis, you've got the same car I do.

Type S means Sport Spec, ie upgraded front bumper, better trim, GTR steering wheel etc. Its all looks mostly, I've got a list of the differences I'll post em up sometime.

I have a R33 GTS25 4dr, 5 speed manual

Last dyno 116rwkw

Heat wrapped extrators(6,2,1)

2.5" stainless steel exhaust system with 4" tip

K & N panel air filter

5 puck heavy duty clutch

LSD

Strut brace

17" ROH adrenalin mags

235x45x17 Dunlop 901's

side skirts, and corner caps

R33 GTR rear spoiler

Lowered on king springs

I have had the cat removed.

The car started out as an auto, we converted it to manual and gained 16 extra rwkw:)

time down the 1/4 is slow at 16 flat, darn heavy 4dr whales:(

When I brought the car, It already had the heat wrap on, the guy that owned it in Japan had done all the hard work. It does reduce the engine bay temps, It's all helps in keeping the intake pipe a little cooler.

gotta say I love the NA thread idea

Heres a pic of my car

I know this is gonna b a dumb question:bahaha: , so here it goes...How can you actually tell visually looking at a Sky if its got HICAS and ABS? Currently lookin at a 1994 ER33 GTS25, the guy said its got HICAS but not ABS.

And wats the different between the ER33 and the ECR33?

ight cheers :shake:

For ABS: look in the engine bay. at the top right corner there is a device (computer looking thing) that controls abs.

For HICAS: look under the rear and if you have a electric motor and stuff there then you have hicas.

I thought ER33 was non turbo 33's, ECR33 was for turbo 33s, but not sure.

    • My thought is if you were just moving it forward and the upstream geometry remained the same, then no difference at all. But because the current one has the filter direct into the AFM inlet, you effectively have the best chance of a completely symmetric air flow profile upstream, and in, the AFM, whilst the aftermarket inlet thingo has a (small, to be sure) bend between the filter and the AFM. That would bias the flow to the outside of the bend (downstream of the bend) which might well reduce the size of the signal seen by the AFM, for the same total flow rate. Having said that: If you're proposing to make your inlet look like a hybrid of your existing one and the aftermarket one, such that there is no bend where the filter is clamped on... then I say it will be just fine. If there is going to be such a bend, then, if you can align the insertion of the AFM blade such that it is at right angles to the plane of the bend, then there is a better than even chance that the centreline velocity where the blade is will remain more or less the same, and the velocity will just be a little faster to the outside of that, and just a little slower to the inside. **This is not professional investment advice and you should consult a suitably qualified ouija board, tea leaves or the intestines of a goat for more accurate prognostication.
    • Hi Tao, Thanks for your reply.  It's been a while and I managed to get the valve stem seals replaced with the head on the car.  Unfortunately this didn't solve my issue, the car still smokes a lot after idling (to be honest during idle you can see a bit of blue smoke from the exhaust), same after deceleration. I will try disconnecting the valve cover breathers, do I leave the PCV valve in? By engine oil drain pipe, do you mean the turbo oil drain?
    • What about if you just give it direct 12v and earth?
    • Hi guys . Can someone help me  I bought an Android screen for my Nissan fuga but it won't turn on
    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
