well finally after a huge long rebuild time of 12 months its finally got a go on the dyno, and it went alot better than expected on the low boost setting so im lovin it :O even blowing flames on over run which looks maddd :(

boost is on a low 13psi and rpm limit is 9000rpm. no power figures are gonna be published on here due to the amount of people in the non stagea sections wanting to slag on others results so i think ill keep it quite.

ive got a couple of power runs

turbo and manifold glowing as it boosts up

thats all i can do at the moment as i gotta goto work, ill post the others of the flames, etc after work.

stay tuned :(

Brad

Brad, simply out of a matter of interest (yes, Im interested in your total buildup, LOL, and Im NOT a slanger, far from it - backslaps all round, hear hear) - would love to know what the 2.7 pulled on low boost.

Excellent work Brad. Congrats for sticking with it, I know its hard when they are off the road for so long, still waiting for mine! Should be back in a week though.

PM me the figure, would love to know!

Nice to see it all up and running!

Sounds very nice!

However (this is a good thing haha) i thought you were gonna go external gate or did you decide that it would be a little less offensive to plumb it back?

Either way can't wait to see Final Final (figures) result!

Keep up the good work!

    • You still want a proper tune on the stock ECU though. Stock tune + stock ECU with GT-SS/-9s is probably playing with fire if you're running more than stock airflow/power.

    • There was a great one on Victoria Rd in Gladesville too back in the day. I can only assume GTSBoy is thinking of the mill up on the wollondilly, no restaurant there any more but they have restored the original steam engine on site and run it every few months, have an annual steampunk festival etc @The Bogan, you came to the wrong town for restaurants. we have a few reasonable asian and indian options but the Paragon is as good as it gets otherwise. That brewery is apparently just opened, been meaning to give it a go some time. The Highlands have plenty of fancy options but I suspect you are more a hearty eater than fancy eater
