Hi guys,

I have an R34 gt-t (manual) wreck which has sustained excessive rear end damage and looks like a write off. The front end and interior are almost fine. the car was slighty modded with FMIC for e.g.

I don't know how much this would retail for or how much wreckers would pay for it so I would like to know what people would offer.

Would prefer selling the whole wreck but will strip if necessary.

Please PM me for more details and interest.

Regards.

Hi guys,

Sorry for the delay for I have been stripping the cars interior. I apologise if I have not replied to your pm's as I have been very busy dealing with the car, so i figured I would just put a post with some pics on the main thread.

Now I was involved in a car accident and as a result the car has been a write off. As stated earlier the car sustained major rear end damage. The driver's side door was also damaged aswell as the chasis on the driver's side. The roof was also damaged. 2 out of 4 of the rims have been damaged. It would be better if people oculd come and inspect it. The engine remains aswell as the gearbox and clutch etc.

To cut a long story short, I now need funds to purchase a run around car as the car was not insured. So i need to salvage as much as I can.

Here is what I have stripped so far and how much I am after.

Parts:

------

Car details: 1998 r34 gt-t (Silver) It was originally tiptronic but had a manual conversion using r33 gts-t gear box done at Kirawee Autosports Engineering. Car had travelled almost 68 000km.

1.Genuine Xenon headlights (brackets have been broken, xenon bulbs were replaced with genuine nissan xenon bulbs 2 weeks ago and they cost $230 a bulb). Price for the pair: $550 firm.

2.CF bonnet purchased from Carmate for $1200 ( Nismo Z tune GTR style) has a few small scratches. Just needs to be resprayed : $700

3.Original Bonnet (Silver): $450

4.Blitz Super Sound Dual Drive bov: $200 ( Also have stock bov)

5.Apexi power intake POD filter with standard r34 air flow meter: $100

6. Profec b EBC: $250

7. Apexi SAFC: $220

8. Blitz LM FMIC made for the R34 ( A minor dent in the middle of the fmic but still in perfect working order) Had the FMIC imported a while back ago for $1400. Asking for : $600 ( Comes with piping)

9. Side mirrors: $350 for pair

10. Standard Strut brace: $70

10. Standard ecu: $200

11. Boost gauge + hks turbo timer: $70 for both

12.Passenger side door with trim and window ( perfect condition): $450

12. Exedy 5 PUK button plate clutch capable of handling 300kw purchased from Mars on the forums. The clutch has only seen 350km and was never thrashed as i was trying to wear it in to 1000km before thrashing it. Price: $360

13. R33 gts-t Gear box (used redline oil), tail shaft, master / slave cylinder and everything else needed for a manual conversion. Price: $2200 ( Will throw in a silver nismo gear knob also).

14. Complete neo Engine with turbo and everything else in the engine bay: $3500

If someone wants to purchase the stripped car shell with just the engine and gearbox I will be glad to part with it for $5000

ono.

15. I also have genuine nismo side skirts and also a geunine impul front bar. The side skirts are fine but some of the brackets have been broken. The front bar is also slightly cracked. Make an offer on these parts.

By the way there are also quarter panels and quarter windows which have remained intact.

If you can come up with any other parts that I may have that I have not mentioned just let me know and I will let you know If i have it.

Interior

---------

I have seats, the whole dash + 3 gauges, seatbelt sensors etc. Also the whole air bag kit as air bags were never activated as the impact of the accident was on the rear and drivesr side.

Make me an offer or state what you are after in the interior for I have stripped it and am ready to sell for the right offer.

This is what I have available so far:

* Driver and passenger side seat

* Rear seats

And all the other interior parts like glove box, middle console etc.

I also have stuff left behind for people who have tiptronic, as stated earlier I had done a manual conversion. So i have the auto gear box etc...

    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way.
