Hi All,

I am looking for the name and place to buy this product, can any one help please.

I am looking for a product which i purchased in Auz before, but can't remember where, its to use on the plastic headlights of a skyline etc,

It takes away the dullness and discolouration of age. and sort of makes them clearer.

Can any one help me??

Many Thanks

POOMA

ie. Unique Autosports have it.

I think JustJap have it...

OR, if you want you can call up your closest Honda dealer and ask for Honda Plastic Cleaner that is used to clean the plastic windshields on their motorbikes. That stuff is also the same.

Do these products cause any hazing of the plastic?

I purchased a small television with a clear plastic screen cover, but when i got it home, i found that there had been something dripped onto the clear plastic cover, and it has left some small 'scars' on the plastic.

I've been contemplating using something like this to see if it will fix it.

Edit:

Ok just cleaned my car, and mum told me to use ajax-spray and wipe and the right headlight now looks a lot cleaner than usual..

Still not 100% clear like my other one.. But it got rid of some yellow stuff atleast..

Hope it doesnt damage the plastic over time..

I've been using Maguires Plastic X for about 2 years now and haven't noticed any permanent damage to my headlights so far. I've also used it on the plastic that encloses the speedo + tacho in the dash and it's come up so clear I can't see the plastic anymore. It doesn't fix discolouration/cloudiness for good though, you need to regularly apply it (if it did fix plastic for good, you wouldn't need to buy more! :pirate: )

    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
