Also, can anyone lend their assurances that the FAST printout correlates with the compliance/build plate pictures of an R32 I'm looking to buy. Does that compliance plate indicate that it was imported in 2002? And FAST states a gun-metal build colour?

Guy

no one will give you assurances on what is stolen software, this is nissans internal program, and while fairly accurate it DOES contain SOME SMALL faults.

while FAST wiil give details on a cars options (paint color, ABS, A_LSD, etc) it is mainly for looking up part numbers, therefore should not be relied on souley

as for compliance plates, Blue = orig nissan plate (note the 6U9000 is missing..) green is the australian import plate

given FAST and nissans plate list the same paint color, I'd guess thats the original color

Car passed compliance 08/2002 (Green Plate) and therefore was imported before this date (usually only weeks B4 but could have been anytime)

cheers

im trying to get a full list of options which came on my car

could someone check

ECR33105178

please

you might have betta luck HERE

cheers Bundy

Cheers mate, I understands what your saying, I probably should has used another world rather than "assured", I was merely looking to confirm I was using the software correctly. It could come in handy later if I end owning the car (provided the StateRoads inspection goes well :D), the fact that the plates and the read-out correlate is a bonus.

Hi guys, would you be able to check these 2 VIN numbers

1. 1995 R33 GTR V-Spec - 6U900BCNR33005989

2. R32 GTR - 6U9000BNR32002902

I am looking at purchasing either of these vehicles so I want to confirm they are both GTR's and what factory options the vehicles came with etc.

Cheers for the help!

Jace

There you go pal.

I remember finding a good page that had the meaning of all the codes. I will try and find it and post it up.

Here's the VIN # for the Midnight Purple R33 GTR V-Spec 1996.

6R91MPORTWH2R1001.

I know this seems like a strange VIN #, however where I work we record all VIN #'s, and this is what is on our records for an immaculate R33 GTR I'm considering buying. My assumption is that this VIN # was issued by South Australian Licensing Authorities (that's where it was imported to).

Would be appreciated if you could check it for me!

Cheers,

Jace.

Could i get this VIN number checked please - 6U9000BCNR33024253.

I gave you the Australian VIN number for this car in my last post, which you advised would not be recorded as it is not a genuine Nissan VIN.

The genuine Nissan VIN is BCNR33024253, however I placed "6U9000" before it.

Hopefully it is recorded on the fast software, and it should be a 1996 R33 GTR V-Spec Midnight Purple.

Cheers!

    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
