I just took out the airbag glob. The average policeman wouldn't know it's supposed to have one I'd say

Unless they look across to the passengers side and see the SRS logo on the separate dash panel or the writing on the visors or sticker in the door jamb...

Looks like mine but your paint is better looked after :)

Yeah the paint seems to be in really good condition!

On the note of airbags, my 1993 model didn't come with one. It's got an autotechnica one in there at the moment but it doesn't suit. I assume Nardi's/any deep dish steering wheel is legal right?

If it didn't have airbags(Very few 93/94 models had them as they were optional, 95 models are more common with them and 96-~ they were a standard feature) Then it doesn't matter if you change the wheel. If it came with airbags from factory then legally you aren't allowed to remove them, you're actually not allowed to tamper with the SRS system at all cus as Rob said you're messing with the safety features of the car.

Yeah I just didn't want another thing for cops to hassle me about! Will definitely be buying a deep corn wheel then.

    • I used to do that, but then I got savvy. The benefits of having your phone photos geotagged outweigh the negatives. I just don't publish any photo straight off the phone/out of the gallery/off google photos, etc. If I'm going to use a photo, other than for SMSing to fam, I will always open it on the computer, copy it/otherwise edit it and save down without the original metadata, before using it. For example, posting photos of my engine bay into a thread on here, to show someone a plug or something - I will just screen-cap the section I want to use and paste that section direct from the clipboard into the post. No metadata goes along with.
    • Yes, so it won't work for places with no photos on the net. I would have said that there are no photos of the inside of my house on the net, but....then I realised that my kids' parties would have had bazzillions of photos of the living spaces, kitchen etc put on insta and other shitmedia. So... you can see how insidious it is.
    • Whomever is stalking me will need to deal with a few of these, so my safety is "assured"
    • It's not any meta data. They have scraped images from everywhere, and then use AI to compare your photo to other photos and work out where you are.
    • I just looked at my camera phone settings, apparently I have "not allowed" for location  Will that stop that app?
