rezz, ur time doesnt count :P

Sport tyres only :(

its a SUPER LAP ATTACK hehee

Hahaha you're right... I cheated. Well a 48sec lap is my best ultimate lap time, but I'll have to try again with S-Tires.

I dragged the PS2 out of the cabinet and brushed the cobwebs off to get some of my Tsukuba times last night. I've been doing Tsukuba Super Lap challenges on sports soft tyres against a mate for ages, so I have a few times to submit here... Not all the cars are fully modified, some are very mild on power. I've noted which cars have wings fitted too. I know there's a couple of ring-ins (non JDM cars) - sue me...set a few more times with different cars last night too. I haven't played it in ages...

Skyline GTR '89 738bhp 55.127 (identical to Butler's best time in the RX7!)

Mazda RX7 Type RS (FD)'98 495bhp 55.679 wing

Mine's GTR N1 V-Spec (R34) 600bhp 55.722

Silvia Spec R AERO (S15) '99 445bhp 56.369 wing

NISMO GTR LM road going version '95 610bhp 56.441

FPV F6 Typhoon '04 566bhp 56.665

RUF BTR '86 478bhp 56.941

300ZX 2 seater (Z32 )'98 565bhp 57.615 wing

NISMO Fairlady Z Z-Tune (Z33) '03 390bhp 57.756

WRX Sti '02 431bhp 58.319

R34 GTR V-Spec N1 384bhp 58.404 wing

Evo VII 419bhp 58.714

Honda NSX Type S Zero '97 336bhp 58.770

ha thats crazy the same time. just did a 54.719 in the rx7. i think thats about as far as she will go with no wing and no nos.

nice time in the RX7 Butler! and with no wing - good work! I never use NOS - just feels like cheating...

I might have to get back in the RX-7 and do some more tuning.

55.280 In the Amuse S2000 GT1.

I tried the Carbon R, but with the Sport Tyres its not gonna happen!

I tried both of those on the weekend too. The S2000 GT1 was very fast - amazing traction for 500bhp in such a light car! So then I went and bought the Carbon R expecting it to be unbelievable - what a dissapointment! I bought the LSD for it and spent a while messing with that and the suspension, but it really didn't help. It needs a more open track to show its potential. I used a few other cars too - it was raining yesterday, so I had a bit of time to kill... I'll post my times tonight.

Amuse S2000 GT1 '04 510bhp 54.634

my new best time. don't touch the settings this car comes with - its absolutey fantastic!

Amuse S2000 R1 '04 399bhp 55.392

I fully modded the engine and its also a great car

Amuse Carbon R (R34) '04 603bhp 57.699

this car is absolute rubbish! total dissapointment after the S2000's from Amuse.

I improved the times of a few cars I posted earlier:

300zx Z32 a seater 565bhp 56.656 (was 57.618)

WRX STi '02 431bhp 58.034 (was 58.319)

and tweaked the NSX Type S Zero to 400bhp 56.921 (was 336bhp 58.770)

and a new one:

Supra RZ '97 510bhp 56.598 wing

Amuse S2000 GT1 '04 510bhp 54.634

my new best time. don't touch the settings this car comes with - its absolutey fantastic!

Right i'm going on the attack when i get home lol, i thought my time was pretty good, but now i'm goin for a low low 54!

Agreed total dissapointment!

I might pull out some other cars and see what times i can do 2night!

god dam thats fast harry!! u have to be so perfect trying to drive this fast on here. might have to give this s2000 a go. can you by it or have to win it? tried the 4wd cars but there is just too much understeer to go fast on street tires. will drag the fd out again, throw a wing on it and go for broke.

you buy it from Amuse Tuning Shop, full model. its an awesome car straight out of the box - its all setup. don't mess with the suspension!

I'm going to try tuning the NISMO Fairlady Z Z-Tune up to see what it can do. And I want to try some other NSX's to see if you can turbo any of them - can't do it to the one I've got. still meaning to try the RX7 again too.

    • Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable!
    • Didnt realise RB's had more then 1 head.
    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
