hmm

1. i dont think you have a skyline. i think you may have dreamt it up. or youre bullshitting. Most people that manage to find themsielves behind the wheel of an import at least manage to FLUKE making effing sense, bwud. I have a mate with a commodore who can at least SOUND like he knows a lil bit about inports. How can you go out and buy a skyline and know sweet F.A. about them, and ask such stupid questions? IF you DO actually own one, id love to hear what you paid for it, cos mate the dealer wouldve seen you coming a MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILE away! He wouldve thought you were a sucker, and as soon as you opened your mouth, i bet he saw dollar signs in your eyes.

2. Im thinking this H22A Civic was a poor attempt to take the attention away from your er... lack of... a lot.

3. All those mods to your erm... headers (extractors...?) and a cold air intake... maybe a front mount would be cool? And who plucked 10.5psi out of the air for you? how'd you calculate that to be a good boost pressure to run? Just curious. I was thinking id imagine a car, and mod it in my mind too, is all....

LOL Well thats your opinion. Y would I go through all of this it isn't like this is the best of conversation. What are you talking about you know nothing the civic is a challenge you idiot. I don't know everything about skylines but I kno that I wanted one, got one and I kno enuff to get by thats why I joined the forum to learn all I can about my ride. You just read the previous post and decided to comment and show how stupid you really are read all of it then talk to me chump as for what I paid for it alot less than you could get one for, hmmm probably why you drive a stagea.. AS FOR THE BOOST PRESSURE WASN'T PLUCKED WAS SUGGESTED BY FELLOW FORUM MEMBERS TO MAKE THE STOCK TURBO LAST.

dude, i read the last page, and wrote you off as a moron. then i read the first two, and felt impelled to comment on your idiocy. YOU are the reason we, as import drivers, are targeted. I drive a stagea because of C*CKHEADS LIKE YOU, who are turning skylines into the NEW VL COMMODORES. I drive a stagea because i wanted one, so i bought one. Theres no point in you learning about your ride, because it will be cooked, crashed, confiscated, cubed and forgotten, LONG before you can read a dyno graph, buddy.

One would assume that someone like you, with the right connections to get a fully sic skyline for less than what i paid for my stagea, would have more of a clue about them.

Like I stated I don't know everything IDIOT thats why I joined the forum to learn. You know nothing and I bought a skyline because I WANTED ONE. As far as my ride it will be around as long as me and probably longer than your,LOL LOL LOL STAGEA. A$$HOLE get a clue and a real car buddy. If you are targeted for carrying your car to the tracks and running it to see how well it does then you are more of a FOOL than I presumed. I bought a performance car for that reason for it to perform everyone in this forum bought a skyline, well except you of course, and modded them because they kno exactly what they are capable of doing. I kno that they run them and test their performance level if not all the time often they didnt buy one just to cruise with and as long as I am doing it safely I will never see a prob with me testing the performance level of my skyline and will continue doign so and if you have a prob with that go f@#k yourself wanker.

haha ok toretto lets race.

you joined 24th august.. trying to be the most short lived member, ey? And the chances of you AND your ride buying the farm at the same time are higher than you think... but not as high as some of us may hope.........

PS you CARRY your car to the tracks...?

I knew. Its not from from japan.. its from china... Mattel, right? or hotwheels?

Lets see an engine bay pic of your incredible header system, which you somehow figured was the first must-do performance upgrade...

For a bullshit artist, you have no talent. Put away your paints, kiddo.

sorry, but LOL, ROFL and LMAO come to mind after reading this thread.

Daboss, if u own a turbo skyline, screw 20psi into your stock turbo and dump the clutch at 7000rpm in 2nd gear and hang on....

Let's Race!!! LOL Look at you now Mr. "Respect your ride blah blah blah." Ha I have notime to waste on "Whales" or a "Stagea" if you didnt know, and their childish comments all I wanted was info on my ride and what to expect with my mods against a modded civic. Instead I got a PUNK trying to diss I'm done arguing with you and for your info my first mod was 3" exhaust system from the dp back with a 3.74" tip, this makes no sense. If anyone has anything positive to assit please respond if not keep it to yourself. Thank You.

    • Nah. You need 2x taps for anything that you cannot pass the tap all the way through. And even then, there's a point in response to the above which I will come back to. The 2x taps are 1x tapered for starting, and 1x plug tap for working to the bottom of blind holes. That block's port is effectively a blind hole from the perspective of the tap. The tapered tap/tapered thread response. You don't ever leave a female hole tapered. They are supposed to be parallel, hence the wide section of a tapered tap being parallel, the existince of plug taps, etc. The male is tapered so that it will eventually get too fat for the female thread, and yes, there is some risk if the tapped length of the female hole doesn't offer enough threads, that it will not lock up very nicely. But you can always buzz off the extra length on the male thread, and the tape is very good at adding bulk to the joint.
    • Nice....looking forward to that update
    • Neg, the top one is actually for the front. The sizes are 18x10.5 +18 and 18x11 +32.   I measured many times but I'm sure I'll have problems as this is the thread for problems.
    • Just one thing; tapping tapered threads is tricky. Taps are always tapered and you would generally run it as far as you can, but with a tapered thread you have to stop much sooner otherwise the wide part of the taper will run in too far and you will have to thread the sensor in too far too as well (possible that it will never make a good seal) BTW nice wide wheels, I guess the top one is for the back!
    • Welp, good to know. Will have to wait awhile until steady hands with drills and taps are available. In other news, these just arrived! I will weigh them for posterity. Edit: 11kg each (or 10.9/11.1 depending on what my scale decides over multiple tests, the 18x11 don't seem to weigh noticeably any more than 10.5)
