And if theres any cops reading this - EAT ******* AND ***- :D

bad attitude

:whip: bad denham :spank: bad denham

seriously though denham, you have that kind of attitude and then you whinge when you cop a canary. no fcuking wonder mate!

please edit your post. there's no need for that.

We should start our own political party. I'm sure we would be more succesful than the shooters association!!!!

I don't think i'll ever understand why some basic mods are illegal. If the car is made to be faster then why dont the cops just book it when it exceeds the speed limit!!

As for noise pollution, thats just some excuse to book us and raise money for the cops donuts!!! Its discriminating that we cant have loud cars but Harley's would put our cars to shame but if cops started defecting Harleys they would all be F**ken dead!!!!

I think we should become really good friends with bikies and go on cruises with them!!! They block whole interesections, cover their plates when going through red light camera's in large groups and wake-up everyone within a 15kay radius but the p*ssy cops dont to nothing because they are scared of them.

As NWA said "*@$^ the POLICE"

Thats my 2 cents!

i know denham's story, he had every right to make a thread about how unfairly he was treated "where's ur pop off valve" isn't that what the cop said?? Basically had a list of things to look for but didn't really know what they were and didn't know where to look and didn't believe denham when he said he didn't have em. Gave him a canary anyway.

I don't have a modified car, but i am 19, which is just as bad as having a modified car. I've been hassled numerous times walking home (one time a little drunk, 1 time spastic) and getting the full 20 q's, where u been, so what's going down now (what's going down now??? yeah, biggup cops :) ), no hi, how's it going tonight, alright have a good one, nothing but complete and utter disrespect.

Another time outside the Sandy, 1 guy nearly runs over my friend, another massive maori dude is beating the crap out of another friend, outside the train station, cops are ALWAYS cruising it, give them a call, "we'll be there right away" half an hour later, ambulance arrives way before cops, there is a cop shop 5 mins drive away, and they rock up and do f*ck all!

Another one, friend walking home, sirens on, lights flashing and tear it up the street. Slam on the brakes, jump out, grab my friend, slam him up agains the bonnet of the car, pull both arms behind his back .... and THEN start asking him questions!! "what the f*ck are you doing around here? Know anything about a robbery!" My friend was drunk as so all he did was just arc up more, as anyone would do. Did i mention he was 18, now 19?

All this, and i don't even have a hi po car yet!!!! I am yet to meet a nice cop...

and don't get me started about the ones cruising on the trains.... :)

i don't doubt some ppl have been treated unfairly by cops such as denham. he's probably got every right to have a negative attitude towards them having only had negative experiences with them. but one day hopefully that will change.

i just don't like how everyone throws their hands up in the air and says all ****ing cops are unfair. they're not! you've just had a run of bad experiences and that will change when you change your attitude when dealing with them. the thing is, they cop so much crap from young guys that by the time they deal with you or me they've had enough and just assume that we're all alike, that we despise them and that we're out to drag race and do burnouts etc etc. the change has to come mutually and no one's helping the situation by giving up and wearing a chip on their shoulders.

Yer if i was a cop i'd be a **** head to most young people anyway, cause ive seen how many are pricks to em.

And if you car dosn't meet epa regulations, it dosn't meet epa regulations, theres no 2 ways about it. If they get u for ur car polluting too much, u are polluting too much and fairs fair.

Just go dedicated LPG, or sell the skyline and get a car made before 1972, problem solvered.

yeah sure man y dont we all just buy crapadore execs and drive around in em :D

u dont even own a car do u?

yer i do own a car.

Im saying tho, hey if ur car dosn't meet the laws, and you know it dosn't, i wouldn't be bitching about it too much if you got caught. Yer its annoying, but you are knowingly breaking the law.

My car dosn't meet the emmision laws (most emission controls were removed by someone) if i got told, ur cars not meeting epa standards i'd say, well shit it aint and hey i know that, so ill make it meet em.

as much as im usually someone who whinges about cops, it should be made clear that i whinge about particular cops abusing me etc...

i think once again its a case of bad ones give the good ones a bad name, surely there is bad ones out there who which to place there fists in our anuses without using lubrication,

but there are the good ones out there, who are motoring enthusiests like ourselves

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
