you can go pretty hard setup on the rear suspension as long as the front is stockish.

Too stiff a setup at the front is what kills you. Too low as well.

Get the KCA349 kit from whiteline suspension for the rear diff cradle. I have this kit and otherwise the suspension is stock.

excessive camber causes excessive camber? that's a new one on me shuto boy.

as rev said though, hard at the back is okay as long as ur not too hard at the front. i know i know, it SOUNDS backwards but it's not, okay?

also, diff cradle kit is great little mod. on the camber issue though, if skylines are lowered properly, they dont have camber issues at all. (i.e. by properly i mean with appropriate adjustments/add ons to aid camber and castor adjustment).

My 0.02

dont want to go too off topic here, but seems that the neg camber on the rear, is a common thing when the car is lowered. i have tein coilovers and the car is a bit lower than stock, there is slight neg camber on the rear, which isn't helping for traction, and is also is chewing the inner tread of my tyres a lot quicker than the rest. what can you guys recommend, as the best way to fix this without wasting money, but gaining good results? cheers.

i have seen r33's with pod and full exhaust, that couldn't even crack into the 14's, because of wheelspin. main thing is tyres and suspension and the driver, a stocker should be able to pull a 14.2, i've seen it done.

i've got a 31 that weighs the same as a 33 (1400kg) and it has an RB25.

it has cooler/zorst/pod/ecu map (just a bit smoother) and a t04e running 9psi and i came away with a 13.85 and that was on Simex 215/60/16

It has around 190 at the wheels like a few other 33's with stock turbo's running 12-14 psi.

your mate should get at least a low 14 more to high 13... as he should have around 170-180 at the wheels. Power to the road is only a rough thing to go by.

rev210 has done better than i have and his is far more stock than mine.

It all comes down to how you get it off the line/60ft time. If it's up around 2.5 or about you can chop off .5 of a second with a good launch which in turn brings your half a second lower

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
