Awesome car awesome power.

Excuse my ignorance but what does RH9 stand for?

Orginally it was a club set up in japan for gtr's that could achieve a 9 second or sub 9 second quarter mile pass. not sure what the R H stands for though.

old story car is no longer owned by rob its now john's and i think someone owned it in between..............runs 3540's now not 2540's...its not really the same car now...maybe only the body...as driveline engine transmission is now completely different. its even registered in ACT with the same RH9 plates .

I'm sure I read or heard a while back that the 'RH' stood for 'Record Holders' of GT-R's that do the 1/4mile in the 9sec bracket on street tyres but it was a Japan only thing.

I might have heard it from an early HPI video I think

I had the pleasure of meeting John at one of our ACT SAU meets and seeing the car in the flesh. John is a really nice guy and stayed and chatted to us for ages. It's a shame that the pics I took were blurry cos I had the camera set up wrong.

To say the yogurt truck was crashed is indeed an understatement.

RH9 = Record Holders 9

This is what the sticker on the car says.

RH9 means, Record Holders of 9 sec GTR's with street tyres and trim.RH9 is only for japanese workshop GTR's not the common public GTR's that anyone ownes and goes nines, eg:there is thousands of GTR's around the world going 9's in street trim but arnt included because the car isnt owned by a workshop.

So even if it ran a 9 its not really a RH9 Car.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product,that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
