R32 Front Left Wheel Castor Bad

Hey guys,

I hit a gutter a few months back, and my front left wheel is about 1cm further back than it should be.

Ie, you can only fit one finger between it and the mud flap, as opposed to two on the other side.

I've had different mechanics tell me different things, but is there an obvious thing to look for?

I've changed the strut/spring assembly, and the upper control arm.

Should I try changing the lower arm? Castor rod?

Is it possible that the chassis is bent from this, or would the removable parts give way first?

Thanks in advance for any help :glare:

Bobby.

Update - I can get a castor rod and control arm for $150

Is this a good price?

Is it likely to be these that are damaged from hitting a gutter?

Thanks... Anyone...

Ahhh same thing happened to my car, except minus the gutter with the drop off at mt cotton skidpan.

Anyway i cahnged the lower control arm first because thats well basically where the main point of contact really was, and my car is HEAPS better, doesnt want to turn left straight away.
