Hope you guys like the nozzles and if you're happy with everything, don't be afraid to leave Trader Feedback. Once everyone has their goods I'll go through and do the same for you all ;)

Oh, and I finally fired em off this morning :D

It's like having mini sprinklers mounted on the bonnet :)

Because they flow more water and disperse the water into a fan shaped spray, it feels like the pressure has dropped a little but it's still good. Try it for youself and see.

If you want more pressure, you could do something like what I did to my mate's car when I fitted a set of these for him many years ago. Since he never used the rear window washer, what I did was bridged the front & rear washer motors which are in the same washer bottle ( electrically and water output wise ) and that made for ample pressure. :)

Anyway, see how you go and report back what you think.

Here mine guys.. woohoo..

I'll give it a try to change them by this wkend.. and if I have problems, can I head over to where you(fat34) live? cuz we're really close... you could have just ask me to pick them up.. would save you the postage =)

LOL ! Yeah mate, have a look and if you're unsure, send me a PM and I'll meet up with ya and install them for you

Hooked mine up as cooler sprayers today. They work really well! Just need to get that stupid valve so it doesn't keep leaking out though...

lol. Yeah they would work well as IC sprayers !

Shame I no longer have an IC to spray >_<

hey just got mine today... thanks

just a question... 1 of the squirt is abit loose.. any way of .. making it abit tighter?

Hi,

I don't think there's much you could do to tighten that 1 nozzle up but it shouldn't make any difference to the performance. Only thing I could suggest is to position it where you want it and then make sure it's dry and put a tiny bit of super glue where the ball / nozzle touches the socket ? Otherwise, just let it go and see what happens >_<

Ok fitted mine.

The left side is perfect, the right side doesnt seem to fan spray as much as the left, it doesnt have that nice flat spray that spreads out.

Is there anything that can be done? It is as if the spray nozzles need to be tightened (like a garden hose)

Also, after its finished spraying, there is a lot of water that is just left on the bonnet of the car, moreso than the stock ones, but at least the entire window is saturated.

Thanks

Sounds like your washer pump motor is not quite up to scratch. I suppose you could either replace the washer pump motor with a new one or combine the rear washer pump motor with the front one ( if you don't use the rear washer ) or even just check the hose from the bottle to the sprayers and see if it's kinked anywhere ?

Just a few thoughts......... Hope it helps :woot:

I've got mine. Thanks :)

The darn paint came off in my hands so I grabbed some 2000 wet/dry sanded them back and gave them a coat of black. Good as new. :)

Damn hard adjusting those nozles, will have another go tomorrow. :S

:woot: The paint came off ?? That's a new one. Sorry for about that :)

Yeah, the first time I fitted them ( to my 32 ) it took me ages to get them adjusted the way I wanted but this time I knew exactly how they needed to be so it took about 2 mins.

Thanks Scott

Problem is it was working fine with the old nozzles, eeven the new mtec ones on the left are okay, it must just be that right side perhaps.

And it is just one of the jets on the right side =P, I was thinking that maybe these things operated like a garden hose in which tightening would make the spray pattern wider. Ah well, $20, cant expect too much =)))

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
