Just wanted to know what the penalty for underage driving.

As in what would be the penalty if someone under the age of 16 (without learners) was caught driving?

Would this change if someone was in the car?

I'm in no way considering doing this, but I am just curious as to what it was because i have heard a few stories of people driving under the age of 16.

firstly you get rapped, then you get rapped again then later on you get rapped again. Then you get told you can't get your learners for a long long time.

Wrong,

If you have your L's you wont get in much trouble. Just a $200 fine and a slap on the wrist.

But without L's im not sure, maybe even less or more.

No learners and the fine will be 537 for Unlicensed driving Penalty notice only.( Code2107 RSA 18 am reading the code book) If you have learners and no full licencesed driver in car it's a court appearance most likely less fine but will affect getting licence. Getting penalty notice only should not affect getting licence/permit.

Are you retarded? He clearley said if you don't have your L's.

Is it still possible for young guns to take a car out on a track and have a spin.

I used to go out before I had my L's with a friend and drive round uni's monash clayton and bundoora latrobe are both good. I used to go there weekend evenings so not many other cars around, good for a bit of not so on the street practice.

FARK!!

I'd hate for that to happen.....

What about things like motorkhanas and all that??

Join SAU VIC (assuming you are from VIC) get your CAMS licence, then participate in our track/motokahna/drag/drift/driver training days.

well i know for fact that if you drive with only ur L's you only get a $70 fine for driving unaccompanied. i know this because in my stupid youth i did this and had an accident....someone turned into me and even tho it was there fault i still copped it and had to have the incident investigated by the insurance company, nothing happened with regards to me getting my license later on.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
