HotPlates Posted March 26, 2007 Share Posted March 26, 2007 i changed all my oils in the diffs and gearbox.. using motul oils and i'm not a fan of them, my gearbox felt quite different the day i picked it up.. have done 5,000kms now, it must be the viscosity of the motul.. i'll be changing it in another 5,000 to redline shockproof.. hope that fix's the problem.. my 0.02c I just had the Motul gear oil put in and it also feels really bad. Cold shifting results in crunching from 1st to 2nd and makes me shudder everytime. Sometimes I can't even get it into 2nd. Must be the viscosity......way too thick for cold start!!! I'll be switching to Red Line light weight shock proof along with some Nulon G70 ASAP. From my experience the Motul gear oil is terrible! Although the Motul engine oil (Chrono) is top stuff!
