You have to look at the times in context. I understand Fisi already had a days testing under his belt, so by his second day he was probably on a different program to Heiki.

The Aguri cars will be underweight, light on fuel, and probably last years Honda which they are using to get tyre data with...well thats my 2c anyway

Based solely on this test result I am predicting a Super Aguri 1 - 2 result in Melbourne.

Better get on the bandwagon now, Roy. Before it leaves town.

true, the lap record for Jerez is a mid 1:16 and they're all way, WAY off that. Still Kovalainen is a ways of Fisi's pace, and you know he not the fastest cookie out there. Its looking more and more like a red 07

But if they are running on this years tyres, how would they even get close to the record?

Sure, wipe off Heiki already. :)

Lets say i was a team owner. I wouldnt have my two drivers doing the same programs. I would have one geu comign to grips with tyre testing, whilst the other tests aero parts, endurance runs to get an idea of the life of new components on the new chassis. There isnt any reason to be running drivers to the same program.

You want to understand what makes the tyres work, how changes to the car work...all whislt still getting plenty of kms done...so its prety obvious you cant compare times

I understand that RBR are rolling out there cars for some testing today. Be interesting to see how they go when we read about it tonight.

Webber is saying he is expecting podiums whilst Newey is talkign down expectations, sayign to wait for 2008. [Crosses fingers]

Greece are one step closer to securing a race.

As; "Developments over recent months seem to suggest the Greek government is in favour of a race that could help boost tourism, one of the country's main sources of income. Plans are afoot for a possible circuit sited an hour from Athens."

My question to you people is; Will they/should they include it as part of an 18 race calender

or

Replace an existing track? If so what would you like to see go?

And as we all know we will be seeing the inaugural Japanese GP at Fuji Speedway. Should be interesting!

For my 10 cents worth I wish they would replace the Albert Park circuit. It has to be THE most boring circuit for F1 racing anywhere - even the track in Hungary is better.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
