It was the lap they before they were about to go green...it wouldnt be hard to imagine hamilton trying to bunch the field up, he did it on an a number of occasions but he has every right to do so...if thats the case, webber saw it but vettel didnt react fast enough. the germans fault, plain and simple, no matter the explanation.

Yeh, but cant say i agree with the way he was bunching up the cars. Sure, a bit of sportsmanship is fine...but in piss poor visibility it shoud be black flagged for the whole darting, brakign mid corner and big variations on gaps to the pace car.

Stil, hardly LHs fault. But i think the FIA need to have a look at re-starts, especially in the heavy rain/poor visibility

awsome race!

good to see Ferrari pushing the limits , in the race and in the rules :) typically Ferrari style and i love it  BUT they really need to get there act together they f**ked up Massa big time, having to pit because he wasnt fueled to the end of the race he could have easily finish 4, starting on the inter. med. tyres was the worst idea but in true Ferrari style they had to try something lol.

Unlucky for alonso, i was really hoping he would win this race so the championship would go down to the wire, but its motorsport. and m3gtr i think you should give some more credit to Alonso as he is a great driver, i dont think he just crack and spun out, he car was badly damage.

FFS about webber, i dont support him but come on what a drive to get into second place then to he hit from behide under a safety car, lol love his comment in ture Australian style telling it how it is and not surge coating it.

And m3gtr, yes hamilton is a good driver but i think you need to get out of his asshole lol :P

lol interesting read here

FA's car wasnt that bad... It was still drivable but he was already scattered from a race full of mistakes. He overdrove and underwhelmed today.

I think hes the one cracking under the pressure, not LH.

no assholes about that michael mate! :P:cheers:

Then, with the final safety car, I was behind Lewis and Mark and exiting Turn 13, I looked to the right and saw Lewis going really slowly, I don’t know why, but I thought he had a problem. Probably he was heating his brakes. Then, by the time I looked forward again, I was already in the back of Mark’s car and I think he had also reacted to Lewis. I apologise now to Mark because I ruined both our races.”

got this from F1-live

Lewis Hamilton - "We had the safety car and I was constantly on to my engineers to say tell the Red bull team to tell Mark (Webber) to make a little bit more of a gap, as with the pace car in front I couldn't go any faster."

LH is a whinging bitch if he was on the radio saying that....

double post michael...dont you READ anything>..? :P:cheers:

It seems Vettels clash with Alonso also led to the failure of the car that left him spinning out of the GP. Dont be too quick to judge m3gtr. I loved the interview with LH/s father pre GP. Just pouring fuel on the whole fire by saying, "team mate??? Lewis doesnt have one of those...his dad wont speak to me blah, blah, blah" Grow up and stop trying to play the all too innocent card...something the British press love and encourage

Christian Horner

“In Formula One you face many emotions and today Mark was driving a fantastic race. He had food poisoning this morning, which he was battling with and he even threw up in the car during the initial pace-car period. In true Aussie fashion, he kept pushing and today he was quick enough to win the race. Obviously, it was very disappointing that an incident happened behind the pace car but, on days like today, I guess anything can happen.

Also LH is making noise about Webber under the pace car. LOL...maybe he shoudl look at the vids and re-visit just how he was driving when behind the pace car :P Maybe he owes Alonso a beer because if not for the pace car from his incident we may have got to see if Webber could have got past LH...the pace was with Webber, and with LH defending a points gap i dont think he woudl have fought that hard with Mark, though Mark typically isnt too harsh.stupid when trying to overtake

How are annoying is the commentry.. the most annoying was when someone flew into the side of hamiltons car and in their most disgusted voice they say 'oh that was just rude'.. true whinging pom style. They still cant get over Button, shits me to tears.

Have a look at this. Look when they cut to Webber to see how close Hamilton was to the spinning Webber. Is it me or does that suggest that perhaps Hamilton was far closer to the incident. The more i watch it the more im thinking that Lewis must have slowed massively for positions two and third to have collided and still be basically alongside Hamilton after a spin!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me im wrong?

I think your spot on Roy, looks like bitch boy could be partly to blame. Good pick up. Did you also see Webbers massive deep breath once his out of the car, staring at the track and thinking 'what could have been'! Times like these you need minties moment!

..... Is it just me, or am I not the only one thinking that Hamilton has no right to tell Webber to back off?

If he was too close, he would have hit Hamilton. He was well within his rights to get as close as he did. Problem is that Vettel wasn't paying attention, and he even admits that he looked forward, looked away for a bit, then looked forward again when the collision happened.

Seriously, F1 is a sport decided by nanoseconds. What idiot decides to look in any direction but forward. Where the hell was he looking? At some chick in a raincoat?

Have a look at this. Webber has spun and Vettel already rammed Webber....but look how close they are to Hamilton. To me its seeming he jumped on the anchors and caused the accident. No doubt Vettel is still at fault, but come on.

So is Webber saying kid or kids??????

They realy should have showed Webbers on-board camera.

And they'v penalised Vettel for is actions

http://www.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/new...930133128.shtml

Stewards’ at the Japanese Grand Prix have this evening handed Sebastian Vettel a penalty that he will have to carry on to next weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix, AFP France is reporting.

The Toro Rosso racer ran into the back of second placed Mark Webber whist running behind the safety car this afternoon at Fuji Speedway. The incident eliminated both himself and Webber from the rain-hit race.

Vettel will take a ten position penalty into qualifying next Saturday in Shanghai and will therefore almost certainly start at the back of the field.

Vettel, distraught after returning to the Toro Rosso pit, said he took his eyes off the action when he noticed Lewis Hamilton heating his brakes.

"By the time I looked forward again, I was already in the back of Mark's car and I think he had also reacted to Lewis," the German said. "I apologise now to Mark because I ruined both our races."

    • Hello, sorry for being late to join the discussion, but my clock just died on me.   Ive tried to look at Michaels digital clock repair.docx and it doesnt work maybe the file has expired.   Please let me know if you can re upload it or take some youtube videos to show us how to get the clock installed? thanks
    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
    • My return flow is custom and puts the return behind the reo, instead of at the bottom. All my core is in the air flow, rather than losing some of it up behind the reo. I realise that the core really acts more as a spiky heatsink than as a constant rate heat exchanger, and that therefore size is important.... but mine fits everything I needed and wanted without having to cut anything, and that's worth something too. And there won't be a hot patch of core up behind the reo after every hit, releasing heat back into the intake air.
