Honda + CASH = Brawn on board. Ross wont give a sht about how much he can improve that shtbox Honda...he just will love watching his bank account...ching ching...mind you it wouldnt be real hard to improve on Honda's 07 effort

Todt was the smart little general (aka Napaleon) of the reds....there is a big chance of Ferrari slipping back into the bad ol days now

you are an idiot.

People like Ross get rich by doing a good job and acctually caring how his work reflects on him

edited.

im going to save this for when it really matters.

you are an idiot.

I was being sarcastic dumb shit :)

Brawn has an unequaled name for excellence and total professionalism with his work...ask Ferrari

I was serious about Todt though...This could bring about the decline of the reds :)

ferarri in 2 years have lost MS, RB and JT. not good. seems that schuey leaving sparked a bit of an exodus. they should be ok for 2008 but I would say 2009 could be a different story.

Not to mention Rory Byrne...

this is dumb shit reporting from tokyo...

latest news is that the one and only Shu has shown an old but still clean pair of heels to the whole pack in testing at Burca.

Lapping some 2 tenths faster than Luca Badoer in the sister red head, Shu showed the field he is not over the hill ( although D.Hill is definitely over him ) and will continue to make 10 times more money that the rest of the drivers and that, during retirement.

I say bring him back.

Question is.///

Who would take him, how much does he want, how long would he stay, why would he do it ...spring up as questions that come to mind over michael...

I for one, can't believe hes still as competitive as he was 15 years ago... he truly is a man apart.

lol, not only is MS still mighty quick he is also a master of understatement and modesty...

"The German topped the time sheets on his return to the cockpit. He said: "It took me a bit of time, maybe two laps, and then I was back into the groove."

"And I have to say I surprised myself that I was so quickly on it again," he added. "

LOL< stick him in a force india! hed still show them all how its done. Ive always wanted to see how he would do in cars that far back in the field...

fark if he comes back for another year, I reckon I will get to at least 3 or 4 rounds. I have seen him race (and win!) in person a number of times, but more couldn't hurt. I don't think it will happen though :)

I can't see schuey suiting up again, more is the pity.

Ferrari already have two drivers, he's not going to go to a second string team, and no one else competitive could afford him even if Ferrari let him go (unlikely).

It'd be great to see what he could do alongside Hamilton, but really, Schumacher IS ferrari's golden boy, and to see him in anything else would be more than a little odd.

I love to see it, but I'm highly skeptical.

Wont happen. Fact is the team is is technically still strong and they have two good drivers who can win in the right equipment. MS strength was people wanted to work with him and be part of the winning team, hence the defection of all the Benetton engineering and race mechanics when he left for Ferrari.

Its all media hype for Ferrari giving him the keys for testing, it wont change the fact that the bloke could not muster the care factor to be jetting all over the globe and putting up with all the drama of F1 to make a return for a single season.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
