Go easy on the poor kid, he will learn as he gets older. Most kids are like he is around the 14 - 16 mark, after that they tend to mature a little and put some effort into it.

Oh i'm sorry, i didn't know that english skills were something that came after 20 years old?

What do you want me to say? "thats ok tiger, you'll still have no problem getting and keeping a job"?

I wasn't intentionally being mean or offensive, mostly confused.

His spelling is better than mine most of the time...

Spelling is not the end of the world, I still hold a good job and do well with my spelling...

Maths is where its at Prego... Maths gets you the good jobs...

No excuse for poor spelling! Either you don't know how or you CBF'ed (Lazy)

If it is the former, I blame the Government for not allowing the punishment I received back in the day. Listen hard and learn or you were punished.

If it is the latter, wake up to yourself. Col says spelling doesn't get you jobs?? How do you write a resume' if you cannot spell!!?? Maths may be nice to get along once you have it, but spelling gets you in the door.

How many times have I seen a judge throw a criminal case out because of a spelling error?? HEAPS!!!

I was in da 126 rcu for a few years and left due to being run by a bunch of f*&ck heads, who would premote friends and family over the people who actually put in the hard effort and learnt and could manage people. So I left because it was unfair.

Well my nickname was "G" (this was in about 95/96)

And I use a calculator if the math problem is too difficult....... your point is???

Laziness, pure laziness.

Too many pies and look what happens!!

Yeah but you can wing english... I mean i can speak...

Maths is one of those things you cannot wing, if the boss asks for figures you need to be accurate straight away and no i dont carry a calculator...

As i dont carry a spell checker either...

Anyways English vs Math is not the topic... Prego is the topic...

Go little feller, im still wating for damo's responce...

Dave I used Microsoft Word (With spell check) to write my resume...

Im not saying that spelling is not important, im just saying that I think Maths is more important...

word spellcheck is an american dictionary, and i'll laugh the day it gets picked up

word spellcheck is an american dictionary, and i'll laugh the day it gets picked up >_<

You must run inferiour versions Mel as there had been Australian content in Office 2000, 02 and 03... :O

Or you have your setting on US english...

Maths is gay Col, I have never used any of the things that I was taught after about grade 5

And on the English bashing...who cares. I put a lot more effort into my resume than my posts, spelling mistakes in an internet post do not mean the guy wont be able to write a resume FFS

English Nazis >_<

Fair point Andy grade 5 math is the basis's everyone needs to know... and yeah i did put more than 5 minutes into my resume also...

Internet posts are a spir of the moment thing...

But i promiss i will make an effort to use more large words that people dont understand, so i can feel smarter...

anyway... good story mate!

these bloody nicknames can stick with you.

I've been stuck with 'pear' for almost 20years

last year, my wife goes to get a tattoo - yep, she comes home with a bloody pear

*checks spelling & arithmetic - all good I fhink*

*smiles and nods*

SO now i half no why your nickname is prego.....

i dont think ill acually understand why you decided to keep it tho >_<

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
