If it was white it may of been mine. I was going that way about then. Ive had it just over 12 months. There is another one in newstead with a bodykit too (also pearl white). I used to have the only white one in Launny :)

bloody hell i wanted to be the first one in launceston to own one!!! :stupid:

I was a bit surprised to see it there myself. Looked stock (from the little I saw) and nothing to indicate it's involved in the Targa in any way.

Good day out on the road today,

two stagea's one silver and the other white with a big body kit and chrome wheels. both about 8 ish along high st,

one black r35 out at the airport on the side of the road

one gray r32 with black wheel, looking very neat

Spotted a Silver or White Stagea this morning in Brighton. Didnt get a good look as I was filling up.

I'm getting very angsty at the moment, not being able to drive my 33.... Goes in on Monday to be fixed, getting very excited!!

My Pajero just doesn't have the same fun factor as the Skyline :)

Spotted many 32's, 33's, 34's and 35's yesterday at Fingal... the Targa, obviously :-)

I might upload some video of the day somewhere, assuming my 'broadband' will allow me to upload a good sized file!

    • I think he was only proposing to use the wire, not the sender. Simply because it runs from the right place to the right place. Personally, I wouldn't hack up the factory wiring like that. I'd just lay in the Defi loom.
    • From memory it wasn't too hard to simply see which wire ran where when you plug that in. Unfortunately also from memory the OEM sender does not use the same configuration 99.9% of gauges run. So in other words if you connect the signal wire that was running to the OEM gauge to your DEFI gauge you might find your oil reads at 200C or some other incorrect value. I remember having the same line of thought and then running new wires/senders to match the gauges I have. The pinout is available in the R34 workshop manual.
    • Does anyone on here know which wire on the GTT triple gauge pod harness is for the oil temp gauge? my sensor works fine but I upgraded the gauges to DEFI advance. And if I can simply piggyback off the oem oil temp wire to the Defi oil temp sensor wire that would make life so much easier.
