2000R34GTR - blk180 posted a pic of the cooler clamps I was trying to describe....never seen a car with those have cooler pipe problems, you may want to get silicone piping as well if you are going to run 2bar!

SOSK.. that was me you had that run in with at the end of the straight...sorry dude! but remember.. that's what happens when you mess with the 180. lol. I thought you were hanging back on the straight..until the last minute when you came down on me... I just had to hold my line and unfortunately that's what you wanted to do

you can pay me back next time lol

lol.. and David.. you definitely got the most entertaining ride of the day! I've been commended on those efforts on several forums today already! Loved it!

shaun - did a pair of jumper leads finally disappear or do we need to take a trailer back down there next weekend?

Thanks to everyone involved in another great SAU trackday- it was especially good to see alot of first timers out there.

Thanks also to David and Anna for being crazy enough to let me tell you where to go

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to take many pics, but here's a few snapped in the last few sessions..

lol

the smokemeister wasn't there though

yes he was he is the donky ahahahahaha :laughing-smiley-014:

Awesome day, thanx to all the organisers ! Special one to the Wakie guy that told us to Shut Up and scared the f$%k out of us noobies before the start !

Good to catch up with you Ryan and the kind lady(sorry i didnt catch your name) that lent my cousin her helmet !

SK for all tips !

The Silvia was crazy but so was the sound and speed down the straight of that gray 32gtr...

What a great day!

I met alot of new people, and that alone made the day worth while. Big thanks to Chris for the loan of the helmet! Youre a champ!

Liz was fair pwning out there; I think by the end of the day she was cracking well into 1:15s. A few more ponies down the straight and theyd be definite 1:14s or less. Grab some semislicks!

The bronchitis-phlegm green R31 was a real weapon. Ill join the stay-juh in the no-brakes-through-turn-1 class, although that could be because my 20rwkw of tyre chirping grunt couldnt propel me down the straight at anything more than crawling pace  The single peeler was definitely a problem; I was lighting the inside wheel on every single corner! A welder will sort that out no probs :sorcerer:

I was told I did 1:30s in the booger. Not quite as quick as my 180, but still good fun! (those that saw me driving from the passenger seat thanks to the almost bench seats can testify :laughing-smiley-014: )

Have a guess what turned up for my 180SX today though..

T28 + tuned length manifold + S15 radiator + nismo mounts all going in at once. OOH BABY OOH BABY!

LOL.. that was me who loaned you the helmet! I see you're just as good as remembering names as I am :domokun: Glad you had fun out there mate

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
