210rwkw

he rekons it can push 250 rwk, so if you say its only good for 210 should i not worry bout the injector upgrade?

as for boost he says that 14 psi is its sweet spot lol

To get 250rwkW reliably you will need: Injectors, z32 afm and around 18psi. I'm not saying 250rwkw isn't possible because there are so many variables.

i dont own a scanner but i got it tuned with the stock cooler and turbo, pfc and turbo back exhaust on 12.5 psi and made 175rwk. protek done my tune

Too many unknowns. Which version highflow for a start.

On stock cams at that boost maybe 220. with cams maybe 240. 250 with one of the bigger versions.

just the normal hiflow from sliding performance. if i am to make only 230 at the wheels do i really need the injectors? should i just put the fuel pump instead?

I'll be interested to see your progress. I'm in a similar situation to you..sounds like 220-230rwkw is about the most you can go on stock injectors and stock AFM.. I think I will keep it below this to save on a few things. Maybe just get a bigger fuel pump and Nismo FPR

the stock internals should be good for about 260+rwkw though

my injectors are still on hold.. i dont know what i am to do.. can u reccommend a cheaper option like 550cc injectors or sumthin? ive seen some on ebay for 500 dollars for a set of 6. il b happy with at least 230 rwk which will put a somewhat smile on my face lol. i wanna run a low to mid 12 down the strip

There's this mob.

No direct experience but I have not been able to dig up a problem with them, everyone appears to be happy.

You also get cash back for your old injectors $25 per injector so. So being an R33 you end up with a set of higher flowing injectors for $350 odd.

So a pretty good deal and worth looking in to a little more to find out if any one has had a bad experience with their injectors.

do i still need to re- dyno it with the fmic and hiflow turbo. cause the injectors are goin in at a later stage. and also will it make more power even without another tune just until the other stuff goes in?? and whats the stock afm good for power wise?

    • When you crank your car, and hit it with a timing light, can you see a steady crank timing?
    • Oh, forgot to add, A few months ago I was getting mixture codes and the car was using crap loads of fuel. You could smell the unburned fuel in the exhaust, it was crazy strong. Economy was over 17.5 l/100 and usually around 19. I smoked the engine and found a leaky CCV hose which I replaced and then I replaced my two pre cat O2 sensors, I also replaced the MAF. This fixed my mixture codes and improved my exonomy but I'm still 14 - 15 l/100 when pottering about town so something is still amiss. Throttle response is much better and it has more pep but I'd like to know why it's still so thirsty (and I'm hoping that whatever it is gives me a bit more poke).
    • Car is on factory injectors/z32 maf/ q45 throttle body/ z32 ecu with nistune
    • Hello all, currently finishing up a rb25 swap into my s14. Having issues with starting, car has spark (confirmed by pulling a plug and watching it spark), has fuel(confirmed by checking pulse/voltage at injectors all spark plugs are soaked in fuel). Car cranks over and pops into the exhaust with a heavy fuel smell but no attempt to start or run, I have torn the timing cover off and triple confirmed timing, turned the CAS in multiple spots both directions, attempted to start with coolant temp and maf unplugged, checked my fuel lines and made sure they weren’t backwards, checked voltage at cas/injectors/coilpacks, made sure all the grounds in the harness are connected and added a few grounding straps (1 from chassis to block, 1 from chassis to head, and 1 from chassis to igniter chip) I am getting stumped here. As a last ditch effort I made a full grounding harness tonight that’s going to run from the battery and add an extra ground from the battery onto the coil pack harness/igniter chip/ intake manifold/ Wiring specialties harness ground/ and alternator. I’m hoping maybe the grounding harness will fix it here but posting here to see if anyone has any other ideas on what else I can check. My fuel pressure is unknown right gauge will be here tomorrow.  IMG_3206.mov
