front: 20mm id, 24mm od (and quoted as 192% stiffer than stock) hollow.

rear: 25.4mm id, 30mm od (and quoted as 162% stiffer than stock) also hollow.

both are not adjustable.

By my rough as guts calculations:

I have assumed they are just torsion bars. spring rate for torsion bars varies with the fourth order of diameter ie mm^4. But it is a long time since I have been to uni, so I may be forgetting something....

Anyway the numbers are:

Front

Cusco 24 od, 20 id. mm4 = 171,776

Whiteline front 22 od. mm4 = 234,256

ie Whiteline stiffer by 36%.

Rear.

Cusco 30 od 25.4 id. mm4 = 393,769.

Whiteline 24mm od. mm4 = 331,776

ie Cusco stiffer by 19%.

But that does not take into account any adjustability in the pick up points on the lever arms....

hmm, interesting. so perhaps I'll be better off keeping my rear whiteline and just setting it to 'soft'. but I am keen to get the cusco's even just for the fact they are a fair bit lighter.

I scanned it from the 2007 dealers catalogue.

salad, the cusco bars are not adjustable. but it doesn't worry me as I have so much adjustment everywhere else! one less thing to play with is almost welcome!

well back to the roll centres.

moon face have a few different options. from replacement arms with their adjuster in it (from what I can tell) to just the adjuster, down to spacers, and sleeves. costs is from around $900 down to like $200.

so dave, buy some mate, try it out, tell me what you think! lol

not sure about the difference between the kits. I will find out though. if I get them I will just buy from japan. works out better for me that way.

I think I will give the rear spacers a go first up. See what it does. May even get to back out some rake angle again. Woo hoo.

With the spacers you don't have to press the ball joint out of the arm hence they are cheaper/easier to buy & fit.

Also I thought (Probably wrong again) that the blue spacer was the only one available for the front of the R32 GT-R.

Who's the aus distributor for moonface? I like the look of that stuff as i have already gone to the trouble of replacing all my rubber bushes in the suspension arms and don't want to go the next step of full adjustable arms.

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt 
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm. 
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
