currently playing. time crisis 4 PS3. should I be embarresed? :P but hey it was a gift! and actually quite fun. though I really wish the guns had recoil like the arcade ones used to, or at least rumble/dual shock. that would be nice. :D

ive been thinking about gettting tc4, i could finish tc2 on once credit back in the day lol

how accurate is the gun?

yeah it's not too bad. you calibrate it each time you start the game. you can chose 2 point calibration or 5 point. I always do the 5 point. i'm playing on a 46" sony XBR lcd and the sensor cord isn;t long enough to span the width of the TV but it's not a problem.

I tried the FPS part of the game last night. the controls seem so akward at first but it's actually not too bad once you get into it.

well COD4 runs aswell on the mac as it does on a PC

im on teh minimum X1600 card specs - un-upgradeable as its my laptop

get anywhere from 20 (with heaps of people at spawn) to about 75 fps

ran these commands in console to up the fps - works well:

/com_maxfps 125

/cg_fov 80

/r_drawdecals 1 (0 is off - no papers flying about)

/maxpackets 100

/snaps 30

/r_drawsun 0 (sun off)

/cg_brass 0 (shell ejection off)

/cg_drawfps 1 (shows fps counter in top right corner)

/r_multigpu 1 (on, increases fps even if only one gpu)

just finished GTAIV, talk about the most boring game of all time. at least now i never have to put it back in the xbox.

currently playing...

Far Cry 2 PC - It's ok but not that great stupid little things make it frustrating.

WAR - good fun still i'm only level 11 but it's fun with mates!

currently playing

Fable 2 (x360) Absolutely loving it.

finished sw force unleashed in 2 days prior to purchase of fable.

Will get far cry 2, dead space, fallout 3 and gear 2. Man the 360 is awesome. Meanwhile my ps3 is collecting dust unless i am watching dvd/blu-ray

Haven't played any games on a pc in years. If Star Wars: The old Republic mmo is only pc looks like i may use a pc again.

went and saw max payne the movie last week.. since then i have reinstalled and completed the first game and i am currently playing max payne 2.. they are both still awesome seeings at the first game is roughly 7-8 years old and the second game is 5-6 years old.. much fun :)

    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
