You can be damn sure that Walkinshaw won't be backward in coming forward in charging anyone for services rendered.

Question of the day: Who would win in a fight: Kim Jones or Tom Walkinshaw? Or Kim's "mate out the back"

ha ha Tom would drop soft ol' Kim like a sack of spuds (and his mate out the back) :D

Occasionally you see adverts in the Auto Fiction when BJR are looking for people. I always figured that if you listed your hobbies on your cv something like below you would be a shoe in:

Hobbies:

Fighting.

Arguing with my brother.

Watching Russell Crow movies.

My money is on the Jones boy - he is match fit....

Can't believe Holden is throwing any cash at BJR, they are nobodies, they'd be better off running in the Fujitsu category against teams of the same level.

Brad Jones should have retired his helmet and continue on as a commentator, that's the only time I don't mind his whining. Kim is just a sad sack and wouldn't even know how to smile if he won the lotto.

its nothin to do with match fit...Tom is a scottish street brawler from way back and the only thing soft ol Kim would feel would be that big shifter in the back of his head ha ha

Fighting.

and to that list:

general complaining

telling everyone you are hard done by all the time

and you could be onto a winner.

I went to bed last night a happy bastard,,,Frosty putting the thing on poll and smashing prick Kelly's lap record.

Wake up this morning with the news that hes been excluded for cheating. Seems the ignition timing was 3 degrees outside the rules. I'm at a loss as to why there should be a rule on timing,,,I would have thought let them run what ever timing they want after all its their engines.

What is with these Ford teams always getting busted for cheating. Over the last couple of years almost all the top running Ford teams have done it. Some that come to mind:-

1/ SBR wire-gate

2/ SBR balaclava gate x 2

3/ Vodafone rear brakes gate

4/ FPR timing gate

and thats just 5 off the top of my head.

the holden teams have been done aswell -- just look at team dynamik they aren't there now as their illegal testing cost them so much they sold their licenses

Neil will you be taking your Sports sedan to the sandown round in December?

Yeah! Bignose is such a putz he took the wall and launched back into Frosty.

I think luck had nothing to do with it. Simply trying too hard at the wrong end of the event.

The talent at the front though was great to see. Fast, clean and despite the last round controversy last year Garth was a worthy race winner.

No mate,,,I've decided on a brand new engine package and at best will be running the car in late this year.

ok good luck with the new engine, I'm finally getting to a sports sedan round - always seem to miss them at the rounds i got to.

Todd Kelly has a nice new livery for the Bahrain round

Hopefully Brighty can sort his car out. Some people get all the bad luck

Exactly...Skaife is getting older and slower so he is continually pulling dumb moves in desperation

    • Price seems pretty good to me. Also seems a hell of a lot cheaper then buying another vehicle that only ever gets used for towing.  I'm a long way from you mate, I'm a couple of hours out of Brizzy.
    • New [400]Z, they're available in manual and you don't have to worry about parts scarcity.
    • Just planning to have the wiring neat and hide as much as possible.
    • The sodium acetate, mixed with citric acid, doesn't actually buffer each other. Interestingly though, if you used Sodium Acetate, and acetic acid, THAT becomes a buffer solution. Additionally, a weak acid that can attack a metal, is still a weak acid that can attack a metal. If you don't neutralise it, and wash it off, it's going to be able to keep attacking. It works the same way when battery acid dries, get that stuff somewhere, and then it gets wet, and off it goes again breaking things down. There's a reason why people prefer a weak acid, and it's because they want TIME to be able to be on their side. IE, DIY guys are happy to leave some mild steel in vinegar for 24 hours to get mill scale off. However, if you want to do it chemically in industry, you grab the muriatic acid. If you want to do it quicker at home, go for the acetic acid if you don't want muriatic around. At the end of the day, look at the above thumbnail, as it proves what I said in the earlier post, you can clean that fuel tank up all you want with the solution, but the rust that has now been removed was once the metal of the fuel tank. So how thin in spots is your fuel tank getting? If the magazine on the left, is the actual same magazine as on the right, you'll notice it even introduces more holes... Well, rust removal in general actually does that. The fuel tank isn't very thick. So, I'll state again, look to replace the tank, replace the fuel hanger, and pump, work out how the rust and shit is making it past the fuel filter, and getting into the injectors. That is the real problem. If the fuel filter were doing its job, the injectors wouldn't be blocked.
    • Despite having minimal clothing because of the hot weather right now, I did have rubber gloves and safety glasses on just in-case for most of the time. Yes, I was scrubbing with my gloves on before, but brushing with a brush removes the remaining rust. To neutralize, I was thinking distilled water and baking soda, or do you think that would be overkill?
